Shouldn't there be a space in between?[edit]

Shouldn't there be a space in between the words cliff and racer? Zebendal (talk) 04:45, 3 January 2019 (UTC)

Yeah, this should probably be swapped with the "Cliff Racer" redirect. Every instance in the game appears to use a space (books, skills, items, etc). Silence is GoldenBreak the Silence 22:40, 3 January 2019 (UTC)
To find precedence for what the game calls them internally (since they have no healthbars/nameplates), I went through en.lang file from Update 17. There are a total of 3 mentions of the spelling "Cliffracer" (no space):
  • The cliffracer caws because she adores the sound of her own voice.
  • Morrowind, Tribunal, Dunmer, Dark Elf, Book, Cliff racer, Cliffracer, Vivec
  • Ecstatic employer, I am writing to you from atop a pile of my own filth. But I didn't let that get in the way of work. The shipment is of the quality you are accustomed. My life has taken an interesting turn of late. I don't ever remembering being so free. I wonder if this is how a cliffracer feels, flying in the sky, as they do, so high.
When looking up the spelling "Cliff Racer" (with the space) I found 57 total mentions. The internal naming scheme in the NPC/Creatures section of the file also listed "Cliff Racer" next adjacent to a section also containing "Tropical Bird" and "Chicken" so it seems "Cliff Racer" is the official spelling, with "Cliffacer" being a rare alternate spelling, if not a misspelling. So I think the best course of action would be to swap this for Cliff Racer and put a note that it is less commonly spelled Cliffracer, and Cliff-Racer.Zebendal (talk) 02:01, 4 January 2019 (UTC)
