Location

I'm not sure I see how Bal Foyen is "central northern" Morrowind in any way. Besides I've never seen this term used geographically, so maybe we could clarify a little bit here? Tib (talk) 18:50, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

That was me, right? For me, Morrowind is split into 4 bits (plus Vvardenfell), based on this official concept map. Western Morrowind is the Velothi mountain range, Eastern Morrowind is everything east and north of Stonefalls, Southern Morrowind is the marshy bits south of Mournhold and around Tear, and Central Morrowind is everything else, which is effectively the area north of Narsis. Stonefalls is the northernmost part of that central area, hence "Northern Central" (note not "Central Northern", which would be somewhere on Vvardenfell). --Enodoc (talk) 19:28, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

I think the map is kept out of pages for the most part since it's only conceptual, and isn't really adhered to by anything. It's linked from MW:Maps but otherwise mostly ignored. --Enodoc (talk) 20:39, 5 November 2016 (UTC)

I have to agree with Tib on the fact that northern central sounds a bit strange... And I wouldn't take that map as an official source for anything; it has been included as OOG for some articles, but it still is a really old concept map that still uses random world generation and stuff (IIRC, it was even the concept for the map of the second TES game, before its setting was moved to the Illiac Bay)... -- SarthesArai ^Talk 20:46, 5 November 2016 (UTC)
