Would the other arenas also count?[edit]

Other arenas such as the Kvatch Arena or the Imperial City Arena? -- 69.86.93.93 05:46, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Kvatch Arena is a Group Boss and IC Arena is an Imperial District (or more accurately an "event" in that district). —Legoless (talk) 12:14, 4 March 2017 (UTC)

Merge with Online: Trials.[edit]

I would highly recommend that Online: Arenas be merged with Online: Trials. For all intents and purposes they are considered by ESO to be the same type of content. DSA has leaderboards with the other trials, and can also be a weekly that shows up on the leaderboards as well. As far as I know the game does not make a distinction to calling them "arenas" other than the name of the trial. Both pages are fairly small, and I think it would be a good idea to have one robust page rather than two stubs. JarlUlfric (talk) 23:59, 7 July 2017 (UTC)

There are significant in-game differences, thus the reason for the split. Leaderboards are only one aspect; trials are 12-player content, while arenas are round-based and don't involve 12 players. The small size of the two lists doesn't seem like justification for a merge to me when these differences are considered.
An illustrative example: the game considers lots of things to be "Dungeons" for the purposes of achievements, but we still split them into various different lists based on gameplay differences, icons, etc. Using the same logic here, I think it's far better to maintain two separate lists. That said, we definitely need an ON:Leaderboards article to explain that particular mechanic, and it would certainly be worthwhile noting that DSA is featured on the (currently undocumented!) weekly trial rotation. —Legoless (talk) 23:10, 21 October 2017 (UTC)
