What is it[edit]

This book is classified as a Skill Book, is listed in with the other skill books, but also listed here in crafting books. I this an error? --Rhynchelma (talk) 22:22, 22 May 2015 (UTC)

I just checked in-game, and there is a book called A Request for Relief in both the Crafting Books and Skill Books collections. I have the Skill Books one unlocked, but not the Crafting Books one, so there is some difference between them. I don't know what that difference is though. --Enodoc (talk) 11:42, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
Found this on the official forums from http://forums.elderscrollsonline.com/en-GB/discussion/146705/eidetic-memory-books-not-being-ticked-as-read-bug at the end of the thread.
Well we all low how fast small errors are fixed  :) . Maybe there should be two pages as apparently there are two in-game otherwise identical items. One then can be categorised as Skill, the other Craft. --Rhynchelma (talk) 12:03, 23 May 2015 (UTC)
Has this been fixed yet? I don't have have Eidetic Memory myself. Thanks. --Rhynchelma (talk) 15:48, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
No, this book is displayed under both sections. Tib (talk) 16:33, 11 April 2016 (UTC)
The developers apparently said it was a glitch, and that they would fix it. It seems that people need to collect both versions to "tick the boxes". If they are distinct books, needing collecting separately, shouldn't they be listed as such? --Rhynchelma (talk) 16:37, 11 April 2016 (UTC)

() Yes, they seem to be two different books. I got the skill books version unlocked, but not the crafting books one. Do they have different internal IDs?--Alfwyn (talk) 17:42, 10 February 2020 (GMT)

Yes. 1885 and 1960. 1885 appears to be the Skill Book version, and 1960 is the Crafting Motif version.... as far as I can tell at least. Jeancey (talk) 18:14, 10 February 2020 (GMT)
