Sketching a Volcanic Feature
Juline Courcelles asked me to travel to Embervine on the eastern coast of Galen and sketch the various natural phenomena within.

Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Talk to Juline Courcelles.
  2. (Optional) Speak to Urtisa Drolnor.
  3. Enter to Embervine.
  4. Make 4 Charcoal Sketches.
  5. Return to Juline Courcelles.

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

A Jungle Feature

Speak to Juline Courcelles in Vastyr. She will task you with going to Embervine and creating 4 Charcoal Sketches of Embervine Wonders. Before leaving Vastyr, you may speak to Urtisa Drolnor for additional information about your task.

Reach the delve by traveling along the northeast road from the Embervine Wayshrine. The road will eventually devolve into a path and end at a lava flow. Looking north, you will see a tree tunnel you can take over the lava before turning south again. There is a camp near the entrance.

You can sketch once per circle-indicator on the map. You will need to sketch a Cave Feature in the Outer Caverns and one in the Inner Caverns, a Jungle Feature in the Lower Jungle, and a Volcanic Feature in the jungle's Upper Vista. Some of the natural features to sketch are the following:

  • Cave Features
    • The tree near the river room of the entry cave system
    • The lava feature in the river room of the entry cave system
    • Lava and rock formations in the loop around the pillar to the south of the central inner cavern
    • Lava and rock formations in the west of the central inner cavern
    • Lava and rock formations in the east of the central inner cavern
  • Jungle Features
    • A large pink flower near the western entrance to the jungle
    • A large pink flower near the southern entrance to the jungle
    • A large pink flower on the path going north into the jungle
  • Volcanic Features
    • An ash mound near the lava in the eastern part of the jungle
    • An ash mound near the volcanic vent-looking feature in the eastern part of the jungle
    • An ash mound near the cliff in the eastern part of the jungle

At this point, you should have the required amount of sketches. Return to Juline Courcelles in Vastyr for your reward.

Notes
* Any text displayed in angle brackets (e.g., <Alias=LocationHold>) is dynamically set by the game and will be filled in with the appropriate word(s) when seen in game.
  • Not all Journal Entries may appear in your journal; which entries appear and which entries do not depends on the manner in which the quest is done.
  • Stages are not always in order of progress. This is usually the case with quests that have multiple possible outcomes or quests where certain tasks may be done in any order. Some stages may therefore repeat objectives seen in other stages.
