"Dwarven pipes can transport more than just steam. Water, oil, air, even molten rock in some cases. That's the beauty of Dwemer designs. Their versatility means they can be repurposed for any use. It doesn't take a genius to see that, but it helps." —Raynor Vanos

Stone Garden is a group dungeon found in the Greymoor Cavern of Blackreach: Greymoor Caverns.
It is part of the Stonethorn dungeon pack DLC, along with Castle Thorn. The mad alchemist Arkasis operates from this location.
Deep within the caverns of Blackreach lies a secret laboratory where all manner of unspeakable research is performed. Arkasis, the mad alchemist in charge, tests new concoctions and experiments on both willing and unwilling subjects. What horrors lie within his Stone Garden and what does it mean for the Dark Heart of Skyrim?

Dungeon Mechanics[edit]
Werewolf Behemoth[edit]
This dungeon involves a mechanic whereby players can transform into Werewolf Behemoths. This effect lasts for several seconds and causes your character to become much more powerful. Your usual skill bars are locked while transformed and replaced by a unique set of skills: Vicious Bite, Rampage, Bonecrusher, Thunderous Stomp, Bestial Frenzy, and Lead The Pack.
- Vicious Bite: Bite the enemy dealing 47002 Physical Damage and apply a Bleed that deals 27000 Physical Damage every 1 second for 10 seconds. Taunts the target to attack you for 15 seconds.[verification needed — confirm figures]
- Rampage: Charge an enemy dealing 75003 Physical Damage and hitting all enemies within 6 meters. Weaker enemies are knocked back and stunned by the impact. Generates 5 Ultimate. This ability has a cooldown of 2 seconds.[verification needed — confirm figures]
- Bonecrusher: Smash the ground dealing 350016 Physical Damage to all enemies within 8.5 meters of yourself. Any enemies hit are interrupted and stunned for 2 seconds. Generates 25 Ultimate. This ability has a cooldown of 14 seconds.[verification needed — confirm figures]
- Thunderous Stomp: Stomp the ground sending out multiple tremors that travel 50 meters dealing 160007 Flame Damage to enemies and knocking them back. Generates 20 Ultimate. This ability has a cooldown of 10 seconds.[verification needed — confirm figures]
- Bestial Frenzy: Empower yourself for 10 seconds, reducing your damage taken by 5% any time you deal direct damage, up to 5 times. While active any direct damage you deal heals you for 50% of the damage inflicted. Dealing direct damage 5 times converts this ability into Hircine's Howl. Generates 30 Ultimate. This ability has a cooldown of 20 seconds.[verification needed — confirm figures]
- Hircine's Howl:Sacrifice your <<1>> active effect to unleash a powerful howl that deals <<2>> every <<3>> over <<4>>, reducing the damage enemies do by <<5>> and slowing their movement by <<6>> for <<7>>. Generates <<8>> Ultimate.
- Lead the Pack: Cost 500 Ultimate. Leap to the selected location and ferociously slam down, dealing 620031 Magic Damage and stunning all enemies within 10 meters. The gargantuan impact revives behemoth allies and sends out a feral energy ring that grants the Bestial Rage synergy. When activated, Bestial Rage generates 100 Ultimate, resets all cooldowns and provides 10 seconds of guaranteed critical strikes with all damage abilities.[verification needed — confirm figures]
Alchemy Buffs[edit]
Throughout the dungeon, you may discover three locked side rooms containing Alchemy Equipment guarded by a Bloodknight. You can enhance your Behemoth form for the duration of the dungeon by performing alchemical experiments at these tables, using the Gloomspore Agaric mushrooms that can be harvested throughout Stone Garden. A player with the Laboratory Use passive can improve on the mixtures and unlock more powerful buffs.
The first alchemical experiment table can be found behind an Intermediate-locked door. It is guarded by two Werewolves and a Bloodknight, the latter of whom can be harvested for Bloodknight Ichor. You can then activate the glowing equipment:
- <This table is set up to conduct some kind of alchemical experiment. It might be possible to reproduce the results with the right ingredients. A skilled alchemist might even be to improve upon it.>
- <Examine alchemy equipment.>
- <This table appears to be set up for an experiment involving gloomspore agaric and bloodknight ichor.>
- <Combine three parts gloomspore agaric with one part blooodknight ichor and consume the results.>
- Effect: Alchemized Strength – Weapon and Spell Damage increased by 275
- <[Laboratory Use] Add thirteen stinkhorn to the gloomspore and bloodknight mixture.>
- Requires 13 Stinkhorns
- Effect: Alchemized Super Strength - Weapon and Spell Damage increased by 375; As a Werewolf Behemoth, your Swipe and Mutilate attacks now deal additional cold damage)
- <Combine three parts gloomspore agaric with one part blooodknight ichor and consume the results.>
The second alchemical experiment table can be found behind an Advanced-locked door. That is guarded by a Werewolf Packleader and a Bloodknight who can be harvested for a Bloodknight Organ. Examining the table will display the following:
- <This table appears to be set up for an experiment involving gloomspore agaric and a bloodknight organ.>
- <Combine three parts gloomspore agaric with one part blooodknight organ and consume the results.>
- Effect: Alchemized Vigor - Magicka and Stamina Recovery is increased by 200
- <[Laboratory Use] Add thirteen spider eggs to the gloomspore and bloodknight mixture.>
- Requires 13 Spider Eggs
- Effect: Alchemized Super Vigor - Magicka and Stamina Recovery is increased by 400; As a Werewolf Behemoth, your Ultimate generation is increased by 60%)
- <Combine three parts gloomspore agaric with one part blooodknight organ and consume the results.>
The last alchemical experiment table is behind a Master-locked door, and is again guarded by a Bloodknight who can be harvested for a Bloodknight Brain, as well as two Alchemized Chaurus. Examining the table will display the following:
- <This table appears to be set up for an experiment involving gloomspore agaric and a bloodknight brain.>
- <Combine three parts gloomspore agaric with one part bloodknight brain and consume the results.>
- Effect: Alchemized Resilience - Maximum Health increased by 2500 and reduces your damage taken by 3%
- <[Laboratory Use] Add thirteen luminous russula to the gloomspore and bloodknight mixture.>
- Requires 13 Luminous Russula
- Effect: Alchemized Super Resilience - Maximum Health increased by 3500 and reduces your damage taken by 6%; As a Werewolf Behemoth, the Health Recovery bonus granted by the form is increased by 200%)
- <Combine three parts gloomspore agaric with one part bloodknight brain and consume the results.>
Attempting to activate the same equipment table again will display the message: <Reproducing this experiment has already yielded great alchemical results for you.>
Exarch Kraglen[edit]
- Slaughter: Exarch Kraglen winds up and eviscerates you with his claws. Deals major physical damage and hits twice. Needs to be blocked or dodged. Will one-shot most non-tanks.
- Blood Rage: The most crucial mechanic to pay attention to. Kraglen will roar at you, knocking you down if you're too close to him. This drains and reduces your resources if you fail to interrupt it. Players fighting from a distance can use Crushing Shock to interrupt this ability to help out the tank.
- Charge: Kraglen glows red and charges at a player, dealing major physical damage. This ability needs to be blocked, and is similar to Xal-Nur the Slaver's charge in the Ruins of Mazzatun in that regard.
- Fault Line: Kraglen stomps. On veteran, if you're in range when he stomps, you may be killed in one hit. Fissures crack open the ground in a winding line towards a player. Deals moderate damage. If you stand in the AoEs, you will be stunned.
