Sahira-daro

Sahira-daro is a Khajiit who traveled to look into the flame at a certain shrine, seeking knowledge and especially certain valuable tomes: Ritual of Resonance, Masterwork of the Inducer, and Journal of Bravam Lythandas. She asks that you give them to her once she finds out that they are in your possession, as she knows how to care for books.

She can be found standing at the ruins of shrine, confused.

"This one does not understand. This shrine is supposed to be lit with an ever-burning flame!
Perhaps Sahira-daro has thrown good money after bad."
Who are you?
"A simple Khajiit, doing what she can to survive.
Sahira-daro came to this shrine for guidance. It's said the flame gives visions to those who seek it."
What do you seek?
"Answers to unasked questions. Mysteries defined by the stars themselves. And if Sahira-daro makes some gold along the way, all the better.
This shrine is key to all of these things."
What's so special about this shrine?
"It's a shrine to Hermaeus Mora, Daedric Prince of knowledge. They say if you stare into the fire, all will be revealed.
But without the ever-burning flame, there's no way to find the lost books."
Lost books? What lost books?
"Tomes, lost to the ages. They're full of secrets from an earlier time, a connection to our past and a bridge to our future.
It doesn't matter what lies the spirit told. Sahira-daro will find those books!"
What do you mean, a spirit lied to you?
"While searching for the shrine, a spirit appeared to me and warned me away. Don't you see? Hermaeus Mora rewards the pursuit of knowledge. The spirit is a test to keep lazy seekers away!"

Cartirinque will then appear nearby and Sahira-daro will point at her and shout.

Sahira-daro: "That's her! It's the lying spirit!"

If you speak with Sahira, she will warn you, "Don't believe the spirit's lies."

You now have a choice to burn the books or to entrust them to Sahira-Daro. If you decide the former, she will be disappointed once you have burnt them.

"Ah, well. Sahira-daro bears no grudge, and wishes you luck in your endeavors.
Provided they involve no more burning of books."

After you have spoken with Cartirinque for the final time, the Khajiit will being looking on the bright side.

"This one wishes you hadn't destroyed the books, but the shrine may yet reveal its secrets.
First is first! Determine how to rekindle the flame."

However, if you want to give the books to Sahira, you will need to talk to her.

"You have the books? Then luck truly favors my path!
Do not listen to the lying spirit. This knowledge should be preserved by one who knows how. By this I mean, Sahira-daro knows."
How would you preserve it?
"This one knows the proper care and handling of old texts. Also, the importance of trade.
To you the books are useless things, but to me they have value. Hand Sahira-daro the books in return for value. Just think, no more spirit to natter at you!"
You convinced me. Here, take the tomes.
"You are full of surprises! And to rest any fears you may possess, Sahira-daro will bring them to the scholars at the Temple of the Crescent Moons. This one will do nothing with the books until they are certain no dangers lie within.
Not that knowledge can ever be dangerous."
Give me a moment to consider this.
"You have the books? Then luck truly favors my path!
Do not listen to the lying spirit. This knowledge should be preserved by one who knows how. By this I mean, Sahira-daro knows."
How would you preserve it? (Cycles back to start of conversation.)

After you have received your payment, Sahira-daro will begin to walk down the road only to stop.

Sahira-daro: "Hmm. Perhaps Sahira-daro should examine her purchase."

She will begin to read the book, only for an orange ball of light to zap her and then both disappear.
