Rogerain the Sly is an insane Breton found in the Red Petal Bastion. He acts as the first boss of Red Petal Bastion.

Skills and Abilities

Dagger Strike

A basic melee attack dealing moderate physical damage. Rogerain the Sly can change weapons on the fly during combat.

Greatsword Strike

A basic melee attack dealing high physical damage. Rogerain the Sly can change weapons on the fly during combat.

Stink Bolt

A basic ranged attack dealing moderate poison damage. Rogerain the Sly can change weapons on the fly during combat.

Crazed Leap

Rogerain the Sly leaps into the air and slams his greatsword into the ground, creating four swirls of chaotic magic to fly outward from the impact site, dealing high magical damage. These don't have AoE indicators.

Unspeakable Void

Rogerain the Sly creates a dark portal into the floor of the arena, indicated by a large circular AoE. Standing in the portal deals continuous moderate magical damage. The portal itself will constantly spew out purple magical orbs in all directions, indicated by smaller circular AoEs, dealing high magical damage. Every once in a while, a golden Sweetroll will also get tossed into the arena, which is required for the Belly Buster ability.

Belly Buster

Rogerain the Sly grabs hold of you, rendering you immobile, then turns you into a goat, making you unable to perform attacks. To return to human form, you must eat ten sweetrolls. Each sweetroll eaten reduces your movement speed while in goat form. If there are any sweetrolls left while out of goat form, they can be used before they disappear to regain health.

Chaos Gate

Rogerain activates a Gate of Chaos, which summons random enemies into the arena to assist in the fight. These can include Chaos Spiders, death hoppers and watchers.

Dialogue

Entering the courtyard outside the keep, Lyranth will follow you:

Lyranth: "I expected greater resistance. It seems the Silver Rose are short on more than servants."

<Rogerain the Sly exits the keep's doors.>

Rogerain the Sly: "Oh, ho ho! They're still here. Just not everyone takes to these toys as well as me. Hee hee hahahaha!"

Lyranth: "Sanity seems in short supply as well."

Idling before combat happens:

"I wasn't prepared for a contest today. I'll just have to improvise! That's when the magic happens."

Opening portals:

"What do we have in here today? A little of this, a little of that!"

"I just like poking holes in reality, if I'm honest."

"Well, what in Oblivion have we got here? Something for everyone!"

"Let's see who wants to join us. More the merrier, I say!"

"I'd say it's coming down like cats and dogs, but it's not!"

Summoning Death Hoppers:

"Those froggos know how to stick a landing, I'll give em that. Where'd you suppose they learned to fly?"

Turning a player into a goat:

"Duck, duck—goat! Haha hee ha ho ho!"

"Baaa! Wait, goats don't baa. They ahhhhhhhhhhhhh!"

"Here, goat. Here, goat. Got some nice tasty garbage for you."

"Hey, goat! Quit kidding around! Hee hee!"

"Let's play pin the tail on—you!"

Unsorted:

"Too cold? I suppose they don't call it the Shivering Isles for nothing."

"Stand still, would you? I'm trying to make toad stools out of you!"

"You're not even going to try your indescribable horrors? Such ingratitude!"

Group wipe:

"Well, that was a fun diversion! But who's going to clean up?"

"You see that, uncle? I said did you see that? Well, there's no need to shout."

• His staff is Ancient Daedric style like the artifacts Duplici Gladio and Groundsplitters, but it is no known artifact.

Bugs

• There is a visual bug in which Rogerian the Sly will randomly loose the burns on his face.
