Quest-Related Events

During A Feast of Souls, you return to Markarth to find that the Gray Host attacked and that several citizens were slaughtered. Pryner can be found lying dead next to Bienghar.

However, after defeating Rada al-Saran in Kingdom of Ash you can return to the city to find that several of the slain were revived. Pryner and Bienghar are among them, they are amazed and cannot be spoken to.

Dialogue

"I'm only here because of Bienghar. Talk to him, he's the hunter with the big ideas."

"Look, I'm not one for idle talk. Try my friend, he'll talk to anyone."

"I don't like Caddach, I don't like Markarth. I don't even like the ale they serve at the inn."

"I heard a rumor that Caddach can read. All that time in the Imperial City, I suppose.
Not good for a person, I say."

"I didn't even want to come to this stone pile of a city. It's not natural for Reachfolk to live like this."

"I really need to stop letting Bienghar talk me into things. We're penned up like sheep in this place."

"I don't know if I trust Caddach. Excuse me, Ard Caddach. What's his game?"
