Nhorhim is a blind Nord grand Tribute master and member of the Roister's Club who can be found in the tunnels leading to Mistwatch in Eastmarch.(map) He is one of the founders of the club and the creators of the game as well as member of the Ternion Monks.

Nhorhim will not play a game until all of these Tribute decks have been collected: Ansei Frandar Hunding, Rahjin, and Red Eagle.

Location Clue[edit]

Each of the Founders has gone into seclusion, so they must be tracked down from some hint or rumor that can be gotten after The Final Round has been completed. For Nhorhim and Linyia, they're from Gelekh.

"Hard to believe, but I finally got some help around here--and you'll never guess from who. Brahgas!
The little scoundrel finally decided to work for a living. I don't want to scare him off honest work, but I'm not going to go easy on him either!"
Gelekh, you talk to a lot of people. Have any of the Roister's Club Founders visited the hall?
"Founders? You may have noticed we don't serve a lot of elite clientele here. If a Founder came rambling through, I think they'd stick out like a broken tusk.
I do hear rumors now and then, though."
What have you heard?
"An Imperial swung through a few weeks back. One of those sandy types who like digging for old teacups and such. He told me about a card-playing scholar he met in Craglorn--weird lady rooting around in ruins for ancient games.
Might be worth a look."
Have you heard any other rumors?
"Oh sure. Heard one about the Duchess that'll knock you flat on your--oh, you mean about more Founders.
Some Nord told me about a blind Tribute player in Eastmarch. Said he tried to cheat, but the guy knew somehow. Witchcraft, I wager. Be careful."

Dialogue[edit]

"Come closer. I cannot see, but I would still get a sense of you.
Ah yes, the creak of armor—the smell of oil on whetstone. You're a traveler. A warrior. And also a card player, I think. Tales of Tribute, yes? Praise Akatosh."
Yes. How did you know?
"I listen. I feel. After a life spent gazing into the future, perceiving the mundane is not so difficult. These Ternions understand. That is why I came here.
But you didn't come for philosophy. You seek the thrill of competition. Is it not so?"
I suppose. But how can you play Tribute if you're blind?
"Ha! People will say it is witchcraft, or that I am not so blind as I seem. But it is nothing mystical, and I do not lie. I can play because I know these cards better than sparrow knows the wind.
I made the cards, you see?"
You made the cards? You're a Roister's Club Founder?
"I am. One of the first. I know the cut, the weight, and the smell of every card. My fingertips greet each deck like a mother greets her children. Truly, they are my greatest joy.
I'm glad to see people of quality have taken to the game."
Care for a match?
"I'm sorry, but at my age, I mainly play for variety. I wish to feel an array of cuts and styles—cards made in different ways at different times.
If you assemble a grander collection, I will accept your challenge. But not before. Divines guide you."
I'd like to challenge you to a match.
"I smell … yes, you have quite an array of unique cards. A true collector! I accept your challenge, traveler. To hear such a deck shuffled—it's music to my ears.

After the victory:

Nhorhim: "Quite a victory—and a truly joyous reunion. Here. I believe these cards will be a welcome addition to you collection. Farewell."

Deck[edit]

Nhorhim uses a variant of the Saint Pelin deck named Grand Master Nhorhim. The deck's Patron works exactly like Saint Pelin, and is made up of two Bangkorai Sentries cards, two Blackfeather Knave cards, three Bonfire cards, one House Embassy, two Karth Man-Hunter cards, two Legion's Arrival cards, two Murder of Crows cards, one Rally, two Shield Bearer cards, and three Siege Weapon Volley cards.

Bugs[edit]

  • Founders will often not recognize a victory. There is no "victory" dialogue, and when spoken to again, they behave the same as if meeting them for the first time. The achievement and card fragment work correctly, so this is fairly minor.
