Meredil the Archivist: "Oh now what is all this mess?"

"Oh, my! A roguish adventurer—finally! Sorry about the mess. I usually keep things so neat. When things get dirty... oh, I get so flustered."

Right... So, what happened in here?

"Well, a shapely woman came prancing through. Tussled hair, firm buttocks, and oh, the bosoms!
Anyway, the books sprung to life behind her! Toothsome beasts, and sweaty, rugged fighters appeared in her wake. Phew. Is it getting hot in here?"

Any ideas on how I should deal with these illusions?

"Oh, I've got plenty of ideas. Oh, wait... you mean to banish them! I'm such a silly thing.
The creatures seem bound to their books. If you close a book and slide it back onto the shelf, that might work."

All right. How will I know where the books go?

"Instinct. Raw, untamed instinct. If that fails, I suppose you could check the shelves. Maybe some outwardly prudish, but secretly lustful archivist labeled them.
Just be sure to put the books on the right shelf. These tomes seem very particular."

If spoken to before heading out:

"Oh... leaving so soon? I thought perhaps you'd like to loosen those muscles before battle, you know? I'm sure I can help you with that."

If spoken to after finishing the related quest:

"I feel different. Wait, did I—? I said some terribly improper things, didn't I? Oh ... oh, I am so sorry! Please believe me, I'm normally meek as a newborn turtle.
It's just these romance novels, you see? I ... oh, you get the idea."
