Maliah was Redguard and the mother of Kamid, who set out on an ill-fated trip to the Vale of Tiers; initially believed to have sought having her fortune told by the Grand Prognosticator. In life she was considered a Tarnished, one of the underclass from Slag Town in the Brass Fortress.
Her body can be found on a ledge to the south of the vale, along with Maliah's Journal.
