Legionary Norfando

Legionary Norfando is a High Elf scout for the Aldmeri Dominion, serving under Captain Ciranya in a unit consisting of reformed thieves and highwaymen. They were responsible for guarding the lighthouse at South Beacon, but were caught unawares by a Maormer invasion force and taken captive.

After rescuing Captain Ciranya, she will ask you to free Norfando, along with Legionary Pandetuile and Legionary Uulion. When you locate him, he will be rather blunt.

"Didn't expect to see a friendly face. Get me out of here."

Your Captain said to meet her at Skylight Beach. Are you well enough to make it?

"Never better!
Clever woman, our Captain. Skylight Beach is our old drinking spot. Few would know that. Naming it as the rendezvous point tells me that your message is genuine."

After you release his bonds he will tell you:

Legionary Norfando: "Thank you."

When you meet up at Skylight Beach after rescuing the rest of the squad, Norfando will be found looking out over the sea. When you talk with him, he will share his speculations which have some distressing conclusions.

"The shallows in this bay are treacherous, but the Maormer navigated through those reefs like they've been doing it their whole lives."

And that's unusual?

"Damned unusual. Auridon has one of the finest fleets in all of Tamriel, but they slipped through our patrols without raising an eyebrow. It's like they knew our precise movements in advance."

You think there are spies among your ranks?

"Not among this troop. I'd trust any one of them with my life. But they're getting their information somewhere."

Any theories?

"Fleet movements, navigating the bay, the layout of Auridon—it has to be someone pretty high in rank. Damned peculiar."

After you destroy the beacon, Norfando will warn you to stay wary:

"Keep an eye out. Something big's about to happen on Auridon…"
