Quest-Related Events[edit]

You must ask him about Lahini during the related quest.

""He'll steal a thousand jewels! He'll even play the fool! Say you love him. Say you love him."
Hey, walker. Can't you see I'm busy?"
We're looking for Lahini. She's missing.
"That mangy harlot? Never heard of her."
You weren't in a relationship with her?
"Look, I'm not in the mood to talk about Lahini. So why don't you shove off?"
Maybe my friend can convince you otherwise.
"Oh, tough talk. I can feel my whiskers quivering already."
[Persuade] We're trying to find Lahini to help her. If she meant anything to you, you'll help us.
"I … fine. She may have broken my heart, but I don't want her to get hurt.
Lahini came here with some muskarse in dark robes. She begged me to join something called the Order of the New Moon. I turned her down and they both walked out."
Do you know where they went?
"Me and my chums tried to follow, but we lost them in the dark. And I'll admit, I was a bit drunk. Hard to track someone with a few pints in your gut.
Ranza, though. He handles his drinks well. He might know where they went."
All right, let's check with Ranza and see what he remembers.

After getting Kazahn's aid, he calls to Ranza.

Kazahn: "Ranza! You followed that black robed ziss to a house, didn't you?"
Ranza: "Of course! Followed him right to the harbor."
Dahjarsi: "Lies! You can't even follow your own two feet."
Ranza: "Can too! Here, Ranza will show you."
Ranza: "I'll just draw you a quick map …. And there we go! Perfect!"
Dahjarsi: "That's … terrible."

Speaking to him after the Crudely Drawn Map is conceived:

"Ranza's not an artist, but he's a mighty fine tracker. I'm sure that map will help you find that muskarse in the robes. Maybe Lahini, too, yes?"

Afterwards he'll admit his true fealings for Lahini:

"Hey, if you find Lahini … tell her to come back, all right? I may be mad, but I don't want to see her get hurt."
