Girin

Girin is a Wood Elf and one of the Vinedusk Rangers who can be found at various locations in Greenshade. He can be seen alongside Bodring near Driladan Pass, and he is also found at a small camp outside Verrant Morass, just south of Echo Pond, or at the small Vinedusk camp outside Dread Vullain.

He is justice neutral at the small Vinedusk camp outside Dread Vullain. At the conclusion of the Greenshade objectives, he can be found inside Hectahame.

Naemon's Return

You will see both him and Nara right outside of the northern gates of Marbruk. You cannot speak to him at this time.

Breaking the Ward

You can choose to assist him over at Verrant Morass.

"No one's allowed in Verrant Morass right now. The Vinedusk Rangers are investigating a strange blight."

Dinwenel sent me. She said you could use some help.

"Ah Dinie. Can't get me out of her head, can she? I knew she cared."

The Blight of the Bosmer

You can find him at a camp the west of Echo Pond. If you already met Indaenir, he will say:

"Hey, I know you. Indaenir mentioned you. You've come along at just the right time—or I guess it's the wrong time. The forest that way is blighted. Indaenir's looking into it. I'm not supposed to let anyone through, but I can make an exception."

Why aren't you down there?

"Someone has to warn the pilgrims! And for some reason Indaenir won't let me enter. He's very particular about the forest. A little off, even for a Bosmer, if you ask me."

After speaking to Indaenir and if you return to Girin:

"Indaenir's waiting for you down in Verrant Morass. He's looking into a blight. I've seen some of the Bosmer from that area, and let me say—better you than me."

After cleansing the blight at Verrant Morass:

"I hear you cleansed the blight. We're mighty grateful."

Right of Theft

He is surrounded by the corpses of Maormer necromancers at the camp to the southeast of Dread Vullain:

"You missed all the fun."

After you started the quest and when Indaenir shows up at the camp:

"That Indaenir. He's quite a character."

After speaking to Indaenir:

"Sounds like you'll be having some fun of your own."

Striking at the Heart

He is in the crowd outside Hectahame.

"Heh. Don't mind Nara. She's never done well sitting out a battle.
In the meantime, this isn't a total loss. Cariel is a beautiful Elf, isn't she?"

After dealing with Naemon, he will be inside the ruins before you speak to Queen Ayrenn:

"Believe me, I'd have been by your side, but … that Cariel. She's a feisty one. The things she threatened me with if I followed!
I thought the Vinedusks were tough, but the Eyes of the Queen? I'll be happy to stay on their good side."
