Successfully escape a guard after choosing the "Flee" option in the Accost Dialogue Window.
Successfully escape the guards a total of one hundred times after choosing the "Flee" option in the Accost Dialogue Window.

Cut and Run and Escape Artist are awarded for successfully escaping from the guards after being accosted for committing a crime. Note that you must be accosted before making a run for it. Simply fleeing when you are witnessed committing a crime will not work. Your escape will be a considered a success when you get far enough away from town that the guards give up on chasing you. You can then wait for the heat to die down and go back to town to be accosted again if you wish, thus earning another escape towards this achievement. Doing so repeatedly is one of the easiest ways to earn the Escape Artist achievement.
