"Hectahame. Lovely isn't it? Especially with its moat of undead and eerily corrupted trees. As much as I know you want to take a peek inside, as long as those wards are up, no one is going anywhere near it."

While the quest is available:

"Halt! I love saying that. But still, you, ah, probably don't want to go in there. Well, I guess even if you did, you couldn't. There's some sort of ward blocking the way."
What's happening here?
"That, my friend, is the question of the day! We wish we knew, but we're no experts on evil wards and such. Well, at least not those of us here.
However, seeing as how whatever business you had here will need to wait, we could use your help."
Sure, what do you need?

You can ask her more questions and determine your path.

"The Vinedusks are no army. Nothing compared of the undead massing below. And we're stretched thin. If you can help relieve some of our other rangers, we can better secure this area until help comes."
Where are the others located?
"We're covering four locations right now: Hectahame and the wonderful moat of undead, Driladan Pass, Dread Vullain, and Verrant Morass. The Pass has the larger end of our force. I don't think anyone knew what was brewing here."
What can you tell me about Driladan Pass?
"There are reports of the Veiled Heritance raising the undead in the Pass. As I said, most of our forces are there, including Mane Akkhuz-ri and Lord Gharesh-ri. We love it when the big cats come out to play."

Can you tell me more about Dread Vullain?
"Dread Vullain! The haunted village! Oh, but don't let that turn you off. Something there is toying with the rest of General Malgoth's long dead Blackroot army. Long dead and cursed at that, so you can imagine how uneasy things are there."

What's going on at Verrant Morass?
"Well, no one knows for sure, but some sort of corruption is wreaking havoc in the area. It's claiming the land, the wildlife, and even the Bosmer that are there. It's turned them feral. Not a pretty sight, but Y'ffre knows something has to be done."

If you exit out of the conversation before choosing a destination, she will say:

If you decide to head to Dread Vullain:

"Intriguing place, isn't it?
When you get there, look for Nara. I think she's in charge of the small band that went there."

If you decide to head to Driladan Pass:

"Great! I'm sure the Vinedusks there will appreciate the help, especially with the Mane hanging around.
Bodring is in charge there. Find him and let him know I sent you. That way he'll know I haven't forgotten him."

If you decide to head to Verrant Morass:

"Good, I can't imagine the source of what's going on over there. Plus Girin went to scout the area. Don't let him flirt with you too much. He's more interested in his own … interests sometimes then [sic] the problem at hand."
