She will be crouching behind burnt wreckage when you first spot her:

"It's not safe here."

Speak to her to find out what happened to the town:

"Run, friend! Get out of here before the Covenant soldiers come back!
I'm staying put, so I can direct other survivors to safety. But if I see another Dagger uniform, I'm leaving!"
Covenant soldiers? Here?
"They came up the road from the east, killing and looting as they went. A few of us managed to escape.
I wish I knew what happened to Othrys and her family."
Othrys?
"Saalu Othrys is our overseer. Her husband, Garvas Othrys, was organizing a defense of the stables. I didn't see where the matriarch and her daughter went, but her boys headed for the pools.
Poor folks. They were a good sort... for fieldmasters, that is."
They might need help. I should look for them.

You can ask her about the sulfur pools:

"I'd start with the sons, Dedras and Mevis. The last I saw, they were running for the sulfur pools.
It's dangerous in there. The water boils, and wild shalk come up from underground. May Vivec guide your steps, traveler."
You work here? Doing what?
"Mining sulfur, of course. We get it from the pools.
Alchemists pay a premium for it. They use it in potions, but they don't want to gather it themselves."
Why not?
"Take a deep breath! It smells like rotten eggs here, night and day. It gets in your clothes and your hair.
Most alchemists are just too proper to put up with the smell. Can't blame them."

After finding the brothers:

"You found the brothers? That's welcome news!
The only cave I know of is just west of the sulfur pools. I don't know where else the matriarch could be."

Speaking with her after finding out that Saalu Othrys has been poisoned:

"The matriarch is poisoned? She's a stern woman, and I must confess I dislike her. But she's also honorable and strong.
Poison is no way for a Dunmer lady to die."

Speaking with her while you have the antidote on hand:

"Please get the antidote to Lady Drathyra.
Quickly, before Matriarch Saalu passes!"

Speaking with her after Saalu has been healed:

"The matriarch lives? That's good to hear!
Lord Garvas will want to know immediately. You should speak to him at the stead to the north."

Speaking with her after the quest:

"I'm glad the Othrys family survived. Without them, we'd be out of work.
I only hope we can hold out until reinforcements arrive."
