Apprentice Veriasa—full name Veriasa Curatius—was an Imperial member of the Mages Guild and an apprentice to Shadakul the Necrologist. You would have returned her notes to her during the related quest. She is the author of Stitching Flesh, Part 1 and 2.

Quest-Related Events[edit]
If you spoke to her before returning her journal, she'd greet you with one of the following:
- "Who's more mad?
The mage who runs around testing the water while the city's under siege, or the apprentice who follows her?"
- "I can't believe this. All the other apprentices from the Mages Guild were told to evacuate the city. But my master has me running around here, testing the damn water!"
- "I'm sorry. I'll do a lot of things to advance in the guild, but I'm not getting close to those flesh colossi.
Even if they don't tear me in half, I'll die from the stench of those necrotic sacks!" - (?)
- "(?)"
- Yes. I think I found a book that belongs to you.
- "Arkay's foot! I never thought I'd see that again. That's my personal account of the sickening horrors I've been subjected to during my apprenticeship.
I've got some new material to add to it, in fact. Thank you for returning it to me."
After the quest, she'd greet you as follows:
- "I'm so glad to have my book back. The question is do I add my new experiences to part two, or do I start in on part three? I'll have to think about it."
- "Thanks again for bringing me this book. I'm hoping if I show it to the magister, I can be apprenticed to someone else."
- "I am so very grateful to have my book back, but I just noticed … it's got that stench. It's the same one I smelled on you—the sewers. It's turning my stomach."
