Schedule clash[edit]

In the CS his AI package was a little confusing in regards to his trip to the Chapel. The CS states that he starts his trip at 4pm (or 16) and stays there 2 hours, since the AI name is: ViggeTheCautiousChapelSteps16x2. From this I supposed, since it's 'Type' is Wander and that it says Chapel Steps, that he wanders on the steps. What is confusing is that his previous AI is: ViggeWanderAfterLunch; which goes from 2pm (14) to 5pm (17). However, I haven't checked myself in-game. I think that Krusty has done a very good job so far checking schedules but I would prefer that someone else (*winks at Rpeh*) could further check the schedule in-game to see which is right. --SerCenKing 06:10, 21 February 2009 (EST)

Fair enough. Biggest problem is, that he leaves the Guild at 5pm, making it nearly impossible for him to reach the chapel at all, before he have to go home at 6pm. I followed him 3 times, and every time he ended up at a different place. So I figured, it was a "walk around town" rather than a walk to the chapel. Let's have a second opinion on this? — Unsigned comment by Krusty (talkcontribs) on 21 February 2009
I've fixed it. Full details of what happens are now on the page, and I've added a Bugs section explaining why it happens the way it does. –RpehTCE 08:23, 21 February 2009 (EST)

Buy Spells / Recharge help?[edit]

I never have an option to recharge my items or buy a spell from Vigge (playing on an Xbox 360 if this helps at all). Is there something I have to do first, or is this a bug? I've heard other people have this problem too, though I'm not sure if they're using PC or console. Spikelovesmetal 23:24, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Hmm, that's weird - and I'm afraid I cant really help, as I assume you approach him at the times when he is supposed to offer services. Just did a few tests (lowered his disposition to 20, got expelled from the guild, tried my lvl1 save where I am not even a Mages Guild member) and he offered his services at all times. For the record, I'm on the PS3 (GotY). --Krusty 00:05, 6 September 2009 (UTC)
I'm having the same problem (Also playing on Xbox360) At any and all times of the day, the only option is Persuade. Do you have to be of a higher rank than Apprentice before he will offer his services...? (The Lost 23:31, 5 March 2011 (UTC)
Same problem as the other two, also on 360, tried older saves and everything, just seems to be some sort of random glitch I guess. Tried wearing different guild outfits, getting kicked out and back in, followed him for a full day trying to get the option to come up for me. Nothing worked. Hopefully it won't effect my next play through where I intend to go for 100% completion. --99.194.208.208 15:08, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
Potential Solution (as posted on Alberic Little talk page):
Ok this might seem extremely weird but I had lost the option to buy spells for Vigge the Cautious on 360 and tried everything I could (old saves, trailing him for a full day hoping eventually the option would come up, even loading up my game save on my PC version and using the console to basically restore him) nothing worked, I knew I had tried to get spells from Alberic before and had the same issue and when I saw it was a problem others had had I decided to try him again, difference this time was I went when he was asleep and I didn't have the option still (not supposed to from what I understand) the time I had when I went to the "journal" was 1:56 so I waited 5 hours and watched him wake up, walked straight up to him and had the option to purchase his spells, I bought them and fast traveled to Skingrad, found Vigge and his option was back too. This may be an odd coincidence or it may be a potential solution...for those experiencing the glitch, try it out and respond if it worked or not for you. --99.194.208.208 15:49, 22 December 2011 (UTC)
We've seen this sort of behaviour sometimes before with people not reaching their intended destination. Similar to the above solution, I would suggest trying Vigge when he's just getting out of bed or between 8-10pm. Also, try pushing him a bit from wherever he is currently, then wait until he wanders back. Clear any debris that you can from the floors in the area as well. Fast travelling somewhere nearby and then wandering back may also help. Robin Hoodtalk 06:50, 18 January 2012 (UTC)

Vigge and Sulinas from the Skingrad guild hall[edit]

They do sell their spells, but only when they're downstairs, it seems like. I just tried to buy spells from them while they were upstairs in the common area and got no option to buy them. So I thought about it and realized the only times I was able to buy from them was when they were downstairs, so I waited until they came downstairs. Lo and behold, both had the options to sell their spells. — Unsigned comment by 74.240.15.111 (talk) at 23:44 on 21 February 2014

This is true, though not immediately apparent from the article. "He will always offer his services when not sleeping, eating" coincides with the times he is downstairs. Anytime he is upstairs is to eat or sleep, and even for example if he is still walking to the table, he has still switched to his "eat" package, which is what stops him trading, not the physical act.
