If Toutius dies by falling off the bridge the assosiated quest may break, resurrecting him from the console is not enough to get the quest back on track. Bongo 09:10, 26 February 2007 (EST)

Susness[edit]

Hat hate to bring this up but, has anyone else noticed anything er... sus about his name? The first time I heard his name I was like "Toutius WHATtius?!". I apologise if I have offended anyone.

It's a common enough Latin name and Imperials are based on the Romans. –RpehTCE 04:24, 12 January 2008 (EST)

Cousins? Brothers?[edit]

Could he be related to Jesan Sextius of Anvil? — Unsigned comment by 74.170.119.153 (talk)

As it already says on the article, yes. Although it's just as likely to be a coincidence. –RpehTCE 01:29, 10 July 2008 (EDT)
It's not proof-positive, but this theory would seem to be disproven by Toutius' statement: "You're new here, or you'd know me. Toutius Sextius. My people have lived in Skingrad since the Dawn. Father and the Count were best of friends." You could certainly argue that it just means that someone from the family has lived there since the Dawn, but I think the intention is to say that the entire family does and always has. --Robin Hood (TalkE-mailContribs) 22:35, 8 November 2008 (EST)

What Does He Do with His Time?[edit]

So, I was hanging out around Skingrad, and I noticed Sextius head to the stables, and get on his horse. He rode it out to just past the vineyards, where Uuras has his sheep grazing. He walked up to Uuras, rode his horse slowly around the field, walked to a nearby pond and stood at the edge, and then walked back to the field. He faced the setting sun, and then after it went down he dismounted, left his horse in the field, and walked back home.

It was odd. At one point, some of Uuras' sheep seemed to follow him, to the point where Uuras ans his sheep were back at the rough pen area behind Tamika's vineyard, but these three were walking behind Sextius' horse.

What's his AI say? What's he up to during the average week? xoxo Coryl

Update: in the article on the "Paranoia" quest, it mentions that Toutius likes to hang in an empty field. Is that information worth putting into his own article? xoxo Coryl
In response to your 2nd comment regarding the Paranoia quest, you already mentiont it in your 1st comment, we dont normally bother with NPC schedules unless they are particularly significant to a quest so i would personally say it isnt needed here. Also why do you keep putting xoxo at the end of your signature? if you want to sign a comment just place four tildes at the end of it, like this ~~~~. --Volanaro TCE 13:54, 19 August 2008 (EDT)
Because I have a different personality than you, I guess? Pardon me for wishing hugs & kisses to the Oblivion wiki. Coryl

Gold Road Adventure[edit]

Exactly how far does he go when taking his trip along the Gold Road. When I followed him, he got as far as near Ceyatatar, then suddenly turning around and walking back to Skingrad. My guess is that when it's exactly 6 o'clock in the morning, he walks back to Skingrad. Also, I believe this trip doesn't occur every day. I hope the CS can clarify this. Sounds like he is a travelling NPC? That surprises me a lot. Can you provide a date for his trip? Krusty 12:12, 19 April 2009 (EDT)
He did this on the 11th of Rain's Hand. Wolok gro-Barok 12:18, 19 April 2009 (EDT)
I'm sorry, but i have no idea which day it is. How can you check that in-game? Wolok gro-Barok 12:22, 19 April 2009 (EDT)
Usually, traveling NPCs take their trips on specific dates, not specific days. Like Carandial here. Those dates are nearly impossible to find in-game and needs to be done with the CS. I asked you for the date out of pure interest, because I was the author of his schedule. On many occasions, there's a mention on their "old" page if they sometimes visit other cities, and Toutius' page didn't mention it. Krusty 12:36, 19 April 2009 (EDT)
Okay, it seems we must wait for someone to check the CS. Thanks anyway! Wolok gro-Barok 12:44, 19 April 2009 (EDT)
He doesn't have any trip specified. I've never seen him make that kind of trip in-game either - he's always entered the city through the west gate. –RpehTCE 00:59, 20 April 2009 (EDT)

I have a feeling this schedule has some exceptions. Right now, it's Turdas 10th of Rain's Hand, the time is 3am, and I have him sitting in an upstairs chair doing something I have never seen before; Almost like he's...yawning? I can't get him out of the chair no matter what I try. I'll look forward to the CS check on this fella! Krusty 04:17, 20 April 2009 (EDT)

I already told you - there's nothing special about him. The yawning is just a standard idle animation. My only question is about the trip to the east gate. I'm not marking it as checked until that gets resolved. –RpehTCE 04:20, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
All right. I think this was a small glitch in the AI, as he just yawned through the whole night, and continued his schedule at 6am. And I've never seen that animation before, so it surprised me quite a bit. As for the east-west gate-thing, I just had him enter the town through the west gate twice. Don't know why he took the long trip back when I was writing the schedule, but I think it's safe to assume, he enters through the west gate. I'll change it on his page asap.
And a theory on his mysterious trip; Is it possible that he will go anywhere to find the specific Bay Horse he's supposed to ride? Suppose, if you bought it and rode it all the way to the Imperial City, left it there, and went back to Skingrad? That's the only explanation I can come up with. Anyway, I followed him all the way thorugh the 11th, and he didn't do anything special, just for the record. Krusty 05:21, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
You can't buy that horse - it's owned by Sextius and remains so throughout the game. I suppose you could steal it, and move it out of the way, but I don't think documenting every variation if things are moved / stolen / disabled with the console is worth it. I have no idea why he would be seen heading for Ceyatatar. I think we just put it down to "sometimes the AI does stupid stuff for no apparent reason". –RpehTCE 06:55, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
Definately agreed! And we will always get at least SOME of the stupid stuff on talk pages like this. Thanks for checking! Krusty 07:05, 20 April 2009 (EDT)
