Dialogue Question[edit]

At the moment, the final dialogue section for Tivela looks like this:

When you return with Rythe, he will walk up to her and tell her what happened. Don't attempt to speak with her before their conversation starts: "I must speak to my husband first!" Before you've talked to Rythe, she will thank you upon entering conversation: "Oh! I don't know how to thank you! You've brought my husband back to me. I shall always count you as a friend." If you, however, manage to speak to her without the appropriate quest update stating you made it back safely, she will remark: "I don't see Rythe with you. I hope you're not here to give me bad news." When the quest is finished, she will honor your presence at her home when she greets you: "Please, share the hospitality of our home."

I simply can't figure out how to avoid the quest update (it updates the second you arrive back in the house) and would like some pointers from people more experienced with this quest, if possible. Until then, the dialogue section cannot be marked as checked. Thanks in advance! --Krusty 09:38, 5 December 2010 (UTC)

Okay, here's the sequence of events. As soon as you return, quest stage 80 gets set. This causes Rythe to walk up to Tivela and then we should get the following.
Rythe: Tivela!
Tivela: Rythe! Oh my love! You are home safe... I was so afraid...
Rythe: If it wasn't for my friend here, you'd be right.
Tivela: Come, you must need food and rest.
Rythe: I will rest, but I must take care of our guest first.
The "I must speak to my husband first!" line should appear if you try to talk to her at any time before Rythe has delivered that final line. While I'm on the same subject, Rythe will only give you his "I don't know how to thank you. You have a good heart to help get me back home. I'll never forget what you've done for me. Here, please take this apron as a token of our friendship. It's not much, but perhaps it will help you in the future. All I ask in return is to keep the Brush's existence secret. If word gets around that I have it, I'm afraid more than a lone cutpurse will visit me." line once he's finished that conversation. rpeh •TCE 12:47, 5 December 2010 (UTC)
