Beds[edit]

This page says that Maenlorn rents beds, but at least on the PS3 consol, that option is not available. — Unsigned comment by 96.233.230.233 (talk) on 3 October 2008

Yes... that just got added, and it's wrong. Thanks for pointing it out. –RpehTCE 01:24, 3 October 2008 (EDT)

Bed was meant to be rentable[edit]

From data in the Construction Set, it very much appears that the first room upstairs was meant to be rentable. The door has the Editor ID FlowingBowlRentDoor and the bed has the ID FlowingBowlRentBed. Maenlorn also has the appropriate script (PublicanFlowingBowlMaenlorn), similar to every other publican in the game, however he was never given any dialogue for the Bed topic. Since the UOP fixes a similar issue at The Sleeping Mare, I thought it was worth noting here. As I put in the note, I've always found it a bit odd that Anvil is the only major city in the game where the player has only one choice of inn at which to rent--which suggests to me that this is a developer oversight rather than a deliberate choice, however that's purely speculative. I have submitted this at AFKTrack for consideration and possible inclusion in a future UOP update. — Wolfborn(Howl) 23:21, 5 November 2023 (UTC)
