Spelling[edit]

Eleidon's Ward

Eleidon was a holy knight of legend in Breton history. He was a sought after man for his courage and determination to set all wrongs right. In one story, it is said that he rescued a Baron's daughter from sure death at the hands of an evil warlord. For his reward, the Baron spent all of his riches to have an enchanted shield built for Eidelon. The Shield granted Eleidon the opportunity to heal his wounds.

I was going through this book and saw that his name is sometimes Eleidon and other times Eidelon. Which one is right?--Drake3555 13:24, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

The book originally came from Morrowind, where we also had Eleidon's Ward. In OB, there's the Ring of Eidolon's Edge. If I had to guess, I'd say they're meant to be the same person and the former spelling is the correct one - but that's just a guess. Is there another example you've found? –RpehTCE 13:39, 9 August 2008 (EDT)
I just remembered how badly jokes work on the net... and that was a really bad one. Yes, there are at least three spellings in the game. I'd go for "Eleidon" but that's still a guess. –RpehTCE 13:42, 9 August 2008 (EDT)

non oblivion[edit]

could you put a * next to the names of the items that arent in oblivion? (Eddie the head 04:08, 12 January 2011 (UTC))

The page is a direct transcription of the text of an in-game book, not a documenting of Artifacts. That's what the Artifacts page is for. --DKong27 Talk Cont 04:21, 12 January 2011 (UTC)
