Levelled Statistics[edit]

Just in case people are using UOP and want to know the statistics for Redwave after it's been fixed so that it levels up properly (as it's not a case of levelled rewards being put in the wrong order like with, for example, the Amulet of Interrogation you get from the Information Gathering quest, which can obviously be worked out by putting the items from the table in the correct order, but that the enchantments were originally all identical to one another). Not adding this to the article since it's not part of the standard game, but figured it'd be useful info to have on the wiki for those who use the UOP. --Dalimyr(TC) 06:34, 19 March 2009 (EDT)

Another copy of Redwave[edit]

There is another copy of redwave in the possesion of an npc called "captain palgrave". Captain palgrave can be found in a ship named 'the shady serpent' just south of castle anvil, and the ship is not docked. I had used TCL to get onto the deck. It does not have the same leveled characteristics as it should for it had the 30pts for 6sec enchantment of the above chart but my character was only level 3. There is a very small chance the ship could be a 'fingerprint' from another mod i have active, very unlikely. this needs to be confirmed in vanilla oblivion, and then added to the article. — Unsigned comment by ‎71.233.205.206 (talk) at 16:24 on 31 May 2009

I just tested it on the GotY-edition, and there's no such ship south of Anvil Castle. Don't know what could have cause it - maybe one of the plug-in's or a mod? Krusty 12:42, 31 May 2009 (EDT)
In Bethesda's version of the game (i.e., in the vanilla game or in any the official plugins or expansions) there is no character named "palgrave" (let alone "captain palgrave"), there is no location named "shady serpent", and there is no place in the game where Redwave appears other than the quest reward for Ghost Ship of Anvil. The only way any of these can be occurring in your game is because you have a third-party mod installed. --NepheleTalk 13:39, 31 May 2009 (EDT)
The extra ship with Palgrave is from the Better Cities Mod. — Unsigned comment by ‎96.28.85.30 (talk) at 15:33 on 26 June 2011

Bug Consistent in PS3 Version[edit]

Redwave is in fact not leveled in the PS3 version. I obtained it at level 24 and the statistics were identical to the original bugged blade. Thusly, the note in the article has been removed. Ulthripe talk 12:13, 5 September 2009 (UTC)

Confirmed. The bug is indeed present in the PS3 version. Krusty 10:53, 6 September 2009 (UTC)

Recent Change[edit]

I was looking through the recent changes, and somebody's changed the last line (30+) I think it is. I was under the impression it was always the same? Not the same up until level 30+? I'm going to leave it for now, until somebody a little more experienced can come and check it out. Ess-Tee 09:09, 2 August 2011 (UTC)

I have reverted the edits. Those level 30 stats are from the UOP. mxk101Talk 09:20, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for that, just wasn't sure if it stuck for the first few ones then just jumped on the last leveled item. Ess-Tee 12:31, 2 August 2011 (UTC)
