Bravil Is Always Short-Handed[edit]

every time i ask the count of bravil to send aid for bruma he just keeps saying that hes short handed because his captain died. Can anyone help me because ive already closed the gate and he just said thanks. — Unsigned comment by Chris07 (talkcontribs) at 19:21 on 31 May 2007 (UTC)‎

Normally Bravil sends just one soldier, Viera Lerus. If you're getting the message "I would like to send help, but unfortunately my guard is short-handed with the death of Captain Lerus. I need all my soldiers at home right now." then that means that Viera Lerus has been killed somehow. In other words, you're not going to get any soldiers from Bravil. --NepheleTalk 00:17, 1 June 2007 (EDT)

Can't Remove Stone[edit]

whenever i get to the end of the main tower of the oblivion gate outside bravil, i get all the way to the end and then it wont let me remove the stone from the fire. I am stood right in front of it, yet whichever way I face there's no option to remove the stone and thereby close the gate. Very frustrating!!!!!!!! — Unsigned comment by 86.134.50.49 (talk) at 09:02 on 21 April 2008‎ (UTC)

The Submerged Tower[edit]

I took some time around here, doing a bit of roleplaying with my follower when I ran across the 'strange platform' mentioned in the article. I looked it up on this page, noticed what it had and I decided to mention this; that tower is huge. The water in that area is deeper than any other area of water in the game I know of. Deeper than any area in Cyrodiil or the Shivering Isles, at least. Further research is or might be useful. I'm on the Xbox360 so all I have is potions that fortify my health. --M'aiq the Liar Talk 20:15, 13 September 2008 (EDT)

The top of the tower is actually an entire tower. You will not see most of it, however, as it continues on below the ground level. Should you be able to find a gap in that, you would be able to move below that ground level, and you can descend as far as the game will render it. It's not noteworthy enough for that article though. --Timenn < talk > 13:50, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

circumventing the war gate[edit]

I made potions that helped and went through the lava and got right to the tower!!!!

This is nothing new. In fact, with a high enough agility, you can literally jump OVER the wargates on the side. There's 50 different ways to get around obstacles in Oblivion. This is not noteworthy.

Map Key Clarification[edit]

Meanwhile, I came to the talk page to ask (then got distracted, apologies) I see a lot of yellow dots on the map but the key provided no identification for yellow dots. Are they to show locations of harvestable samples, like blood grass? I can't think of anything that would populate an area so densely, but would like to confirm. Thanks :) Crayolamanic (talk) 03:40, 13 December 2016 (UTC)

You're correct, the yellow dots represent plants. —Legoless (talk) 13:23, 13 December 2016 (UTC)
