Kathutet[edit]

Considering there are dedicated pages for all of Orthe, Amkaos, and Ranyu, shouldn't we also have one for Kathutet, as he plays a more significant role in Paradise?

Ummm, you mean like the page Kathutet? --NepheleTalk 00:49, 22 July 2007 (EDT)

Enchanted Longsword[edit]

Is there any chance Orthe (or his friends) is carrying an enchanted Dremora Longsword? — Unsigned comment by 200.206.229.216 (talk) on 6 January 2009

Orthe certainly doesn't - he always holds a Dremora Claymore. Not sure which friends you mean. Why do you ask? –RpehTCE 15:40, 6 January 2009 (EST)
Amkaos and Ranyu. I asked because I have the ps3 version and can´t see the console. — Unsigned comment by 201.1.171.37 (talk) on 6 January 2009
Ranyu and Amkaos both have Dremora Longswords. Actually I meant why do you want to know? Was there some reason you thought they might carry an enchanted sword? –RpehTCE 16:09, 6 January 2009 (EST)
Well, I was just thinking a mini-walkthrough to obtain all the possible items the game has to offer, as I acquired almost all of them without cheating. The enchanted Dremora Longswords have something peculiar, since they can´t be obtained in any way (besides the purging flame) at high levels (and there´s no mention in the entire uesp for this, I think). It´s the same reason that I asked to link for the emperor´s robes and to mention the rusty iron and rough leather armors (the same way there´s an advertence with the wolf queen v3). One could easily miss them with no way back. A suggestion would be to do a new article with this path, because, as you might know, it´s not so simple. — Unsigned comment by 201.1.171.37 (talk) on 6 January 2009
It's a nice idea but alas it can't work. 99+% of the enchanted items in the game are random so there's no guarantee that you'll ever find one. The only guaranteed loot is listed here. –RpehTCE 16:47, 6 January 2009 (EST)
I have all the enchanted weapons and almost all the enchanted armors, so it´s not that hard (less than 2000h game). I´m sure a lot of people have them all. But it´s important to classify these randoms itens. For example, the 63 fire damage weapoms can be obtained at high levels, so there´s no way one plays for hundreds of hours and discover he´s unable to take them (unless they stop evolving). On the other hand, the Dremora Longswords aren´t obtainable in any way, as the Dremora Light Bow, because the random enchanted dremora weapoms are 100% claymores, and the maces can be acquired with the summons. Anyway, all these details could be gathered in a new article, for those who want to do the real 100%.
Go into a few Oblivion Gates at the right levels and you should have no trouble getting some enchanted Dremora gear. Legoless 13:29, 6 August 2009 (UTC)
