Kelvyn/Kelvin[edit]

Wasn't there a real life Lord Kelvin? If there was, then I think it would qualify for an easter egg. --Darth NANAME 16:21, 4 June 2008 (EDT)

Yes there was a Lord Kelvin in real life, he was the physicist that came up with the 'absolute zero' theory. However I don't see how a heavily armoured warrior is a reference to a physicist, especially when their names are spelled differently anyway. Apart from the sound of their names there is no other real link I can find.--Willyhead/t 17:00, 4 June 2008 (EDT)

Revive him?[edit]

can u revive him using spell got in shivering isles quest for skulls??? — Unsigned comment by 99.239.26.241 (talk) on 23 April 2009

Yes, but it'd only be for a minute, then he'd die again.--Arch-Mage Matt 01:39, 5 March 2010 (UTC)
so there isn't any way to break the siege of battlehorn castle without losing lord kelvyn ? just curious — Unsigned comment by Hamoo (talkcontribs) at 18:01 on 21 July 2017 (UTC)
He's already dead. —Legoless (talk) 02:11, 23 July 2017 (UTC)

Follower[edit]

Since he is all the same factions of Athon, who follows you, if you resurrect him with the console, can you ask him to follow you? I don't have access to the console but that would be an interesting note.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 23:28, 11 April 2010 (UTC)

I don't have this plug-in so I can't check for sure. However, followers are determined by AI packages, not factions. In any case, he would only be available as follower for PC players, so it's not really worth a mention. --SerCenKing Talk 08:03, 13 April 2010 (UTC)

contradictory things i'm reading[edit]

in this article it says his bulwark will be beside his corpse

here: http://uesp.net/wiki/Oblivion:Shield_Of_True_Horn#Shield_Of_True_Horn it says it is only available after buying all the upgrades and is located in a chest at the food of the bed.

Corrected: the shield you find next to him is an ordinary shield of True Horn. Thanks for spotting that. rpeh •TCE 10:59, 17 February 2011 (UTC)

resurrecting Lord Kelvyn via console[edit]

i resurrected Lord Kelvyn via console, he stands there as if his AI is disabled, using TAI doesnt work on him since it appears that the game has no AI for him. you can talk to him for rumors, he will respond, but his lips dunt even move. his disposition towards you is an automatic 100. further testing shall be done. --Dafater 05:22, 15 June 2011 (UTC)

Indeed most of this information can be garnered from the CS. What's your point? --SerCenKing Talk 08:16, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
hey, i'm just saying, someone from above asked so i say what i found. i'm pretty new to the game so please forgive me for being stupid. -Dafater 22:11, 15 June 2011 (UTC)
This happens to almost all dead NPCs, nothing unique. --Legoless 00:00, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
Fair enough, I hadn't seen that post. But remember that resurrecting via the console is significantly different from using Risen Flesh or the Staff of Worms; not to mention that only PC users can use it. --SerCenKing Talk 08:20, 16 June 2011 (UTC)
