Sleeping Patterns[edit]

This is just a tidbit, but I've always wondered where Kurz sleeps. Really, all those comfy beds in the Chorrol Fighters Guild go to waste! Recently I saw him sleeping in Lazy Kaslowyn's bedroll while the beggar (who I have decked out in bound armor - I mean, come on, what Champion of Cyrodiil doesn't try to cure economic woes??) looked on. When I woke Kurz up, the beggar took his place and Kurz was now the watcher. xoxo Coryl

I suppose you could say it's a bug. Most NPCs' AI packages tell them to sleep at a particular location. Kurz's just tells him to sleep between midnight and 6am and doesn't specify the location. Since his previous AI package tells him to wander around near the Great Oak, he'll be outside when he starts to look for a place to sleep and so will often end up on a beggar's mat. The beggars don't own their sleeping rolls so anybody can sleep on them. –RpehTCE 12:20, 9 April 2008 (EDT)

Kurz gro-Baroth the Nord... and Redguard[edit]

As a point of interest*, I've discovered while prowling around in the master file that Kurz shares his name with some other NPCs, namely TESTnord and TESTredguard. Hlaro Dren also suffers a similar indignity. I only noticed after more records than expected came up during some faffing about, but thought it might (just about) be worth mentioning.
