I added this page because I felt the information listed was too scattered around and difficult to find. (Gadianzero 14:25, 1 January 2009 (EST))

Does anyone know of any good image links to put on this page? (Gadianzero 13:14, 3 January 2009 (EST))

Blessings Edit[edit]

The Magnitudes are already mentioned in the section summary. Adding "+5" to every line would be redundant, and somehow makes it so the chart can't be sorted by Attribute. --Debatra 19:42, 13 January 2009 (EST)

Oh, and I corrected a spacing error, too. --Debatra 19:45, 13 January 2009 (EST)

I tried fixing the table and paragraph to remove redundancy and improve the grammer. (Gadianzero 22:15, 13 January 2009 (EST))
That doesn't fix the other problem, but I managed to fix it. However, I found something odd:
Tomb Blessing FormID Attribute
Sir Caius Stendarr's Blessing xx000E00 Personality +5
Sir Casimir Mara's Blessing xx000DFF Endurance +5
Sir Gregory Dibella's Blessing xx000DFD Personality +5

I've added the {{huh}} tag. --Debatra 23:12, 13 January 2009 (EST)

Yup - there are two Fortify Personality effects. After all, there are only 7 attributes but 8 knights. –RpehTCE 01:09, 14 January 2009 (EST)
Strength, Intelligence, Willpower, Speed, Agility, Endurance, Personality, Luck. 8. --Debatra 17:09, 14 January 2009 (EST)
I just checked all the tombs. Turns out the mistake was Bethesda's. Agility was left out. --Debatra 17:25, 14 January 2009 (EST)
Just as I was about to reply. (Gadianzero 17:30, 14 January 2009 (EST))

Skills as Abilities[edit]

Am I correct in assuming that because the KotN weapons give you that +10 boost in blade/blunt, you can't use those weapons to train those skills from 90-100? Much like you can't use the Skeleton Key to train lockpicking beyond 60...— Unsigned comment by 87.127.79.8 (talk)

Yes. --Debatra 17:16, 5 April 2009 (EDT)

Damage Skill[edit]

According to this article, "Umaril's Bane" damages his blade skill. But acoording to "oblivion:damage skill" there isn't such an effect as damage skill in the game at all. So if this expansion adds the spell then can the damage skill article please be updated to say so. — Unsigned comment by Remorse1994 (talkcontribs) on 4 May 2009

There is still no damage skill effect in the game. I've updated the article to say Drain Skill, which is more consistent with all of the attributes. The specific details of the curse are a bit more obscure: the curse actually works by disabling one of Umaril's standard abilities, which provides him with various Fortify Attribute and Fortify Skill effects. So technically it's "disable Fortify" rather than "Drain", but "Drain" is less confusing than "disable Fortify". --NepheleTalk 12:31, 4 May 2009 (EDT)

Moved from article[edit]

Blessings Exploits

After finishing and main storyline you are able to pick out any blessing you want.

Once a blessing is picked (I usually go with Mara's blessing), if you were to remove the K.O.T.N. while the blessings are still in effect. and reload the save file. You will notice that the blessing will be remove from the active enchanments list BUT you will still have the 5 points. gained from the blessing. I have tested this Several times and I was able to increasing my endurance well past 100 (at lvl.1, No leveling up required) (unsure of CAP)

the same effect can be applied to the Crusaders weapons, 10 points depending on which weapon is being held.

as well for the 5 point in shield if Holy Aura is active.

the downside to doing this is that you will have to restart the "entire" quest over again.

Note: "My K.O.T.N. came with the Shivering Isles expansion pack for the Xbox 360 (CD) So Im am not sure if this works with the PC, Playstation, or the "XBOX live" downloadable versions."

While this is an interesting fact, it's not suitable for the main page. We usually don't cover exploits from glitches and constantly installing and uninstalling isn't really practical. Also, no first person attribution. Talk Wolok gro-Barok Contributions 06:57, 9 October 2009 (UTC)

Lord Vlindrel's Curse[edit]

In addition to the five effects listed on the page, I believe that Lord Vlindrel's Curse also has a 100% Weakness to Magicka. I was looking through my effects before I got rid of the Curse and I had a 200% Weakness to Magicka (Apprentice Birthsign). --DKong27 Talk Cont 03:14, 1 July 2010 (UTC)

Good catch. It does indeed have Weakness to Magic, too. I've added it to the article. --NepheleTalk 03:21, 1 July 2010 (UTC)
