Respawn[edit]

About how long does it take for them to re spawn at the priory??

I gues 3 days, like most other followers-- LordDagon 11:32, 23 January 2008 (EST)

NPC tables[edit]

I've added the Npc tables because I think the page looks better that way. If anyone thinks not, please revert the edit and state why here.--LordDagon 11:32, 23 January 2008 (EST)

Knight Glitch[edit]

Why is it that sometimes the knights will be attacked by the city gaurd for no reason. It's really freakin' irritating!--Kaito 03:33, 12 August 2009 (UTC)

Is it at all possible that they might of tried to defend you in the past by attacking Guards? It's also possible that in the very last Knights of the Nine quest they accidentally attacked each other when raiding the place? I've encountered a problem where they attack each other by mistake and then the Guards try to arrest them for assault. Either way I'd assume there is nothing that can be done. Oh sorry for the late post, I only just noticed this!--Septim-Slasher 18:19 29 July 2011

Reverting to fists for no reason[edit]

In my game when one of the generic knights is following me, after a little while of killing things he will start to fight with his fists for no reason. I checked, and he still had his sword and bow, and they were both were not destroyed, but he still fought with his fists. ??? Jedibob5 14:57, 15 November 2009 (UTC)

I discovered that when a follower (or probably any NPC) uses a bow to kill an enemy at a distance, when they switch to melee, they use their fists instead of their standard melee weapon. I have encountered this with the Battlehorn followers, Knights of the Nine, as well as the guards that follow you into Oblivion with Burd. I assume this to be the work of faulty AI and that it usually fixes itself when loading cells or reloading a save. 99.145.178.126 02:39, 18 December 2009 (UTC)

Sleeping Knights[edit]

I added that the Dunmer knight doesn't sleep, which was removed, but I was watching all throughout the night, that Dunmer wouldn't sleep, even though there were beds available. I also tested, and found out that the two nords and an Imperial wouldn't sleep. Maybe a scedule conflict occurs? Yes, I have tested this night after night. It may need more in-game checking.--Arch-Mage MattTalk 16:28, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

Checking the CS will be a more reliable way. Unfortunately, I do not have access to it anymore. I suggest someone who does double check this (for now you can add it with a "verification needed" template attached). Vesna 23:57, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
I'll add it to the two nords, the dunmer, but not the imperial since, well, I don't know which one it was. --Arch-Mage MattTalk 01:30, 25 April 2010 (UTC)
My bad - I misread the CS data. Confirmed (both in game and in the CS) that four of the knights don't sleep. rpeh •TCE 09:25, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Little fun with the console[edit]

I just discovered that if you let one of the named knights die, and you use the console to resurrect him, eventually the generic knight will show up and BOTH will be following you. I haven't tried to see if it happens repeatedly, but if it does, it might be fun to exploit if you'd like to role-play leading around an army of your knights (which I really want to do lol) 98.218.200.145 16:39, 29 July 2011 (UTC)

Guess not, when the named knight dies again, the other one stops following you. Eh, two is still more fun than one though :) Another fun thing to do would be to take turns killing off and resurrecting each of the named nights to "recruit" the generic knights and fill up the priory some more.

Ummm...[edit]

None of my original knights are dead, but all of the generics have showed up as well, the priory is packed! Has anyone else experienced this Emzi43 (talk) 19:43, 1 January 2013 (GMT)

Er, no! That seems quite odd. Are you using any mods by any chance? eshetalk 16:00, 16 January 2013 (GMT)
Not a single mod, I'm on xbox I'm afraid,I've got another glitch with my pc version that stops it from even starting! Emzi43 (talk) 19:41, 9 February 2013 (GMT)

Stronger versions?[edit]

Is it me or are all these new knights far stronger versions than the regular knights in higher levels? Thats because for most regular knights their levels cap somewhere in the 10s, with exception for two in level 21 and one far higher. These knights however dont seem to have any level cap.--C0rTeZ48 (talk) 00:14, 4 March 2021 (UTC)
