Schedule/Bug Question[edit]

So, I was following him around and everything was fine, until something odd happened: Like many other NPCs, he goes to bed at midnight but at 6am he wakes up, gets out of bed, spins around and enters his bed once again. He doesn't get out of bed for good before 12pm. As it looks to me like a clash between two AI packages, I was wondering if anybody could figure this out before I started writing the page? Come to think of it, I have seen this before: Weedum-Ja up in the refugee camp near Kvatch. Maybe both NPCs suffer from the same AI problem? Krusty 14:20, 29 June 2009 (UTC)

Yeah, Gorgo has two sleep scripts in a row ("aaaSleep0x6" and "aaaSleep6x6"), which means he sleeps from midnight to 6am and from 6am to noon. I can't think of any reason why it would have been done this way, so I'd mark it up to an oversight.
Weedum-Ja, on the other hand, doesn't have the same double-sleep pattern. The CS shows that she sleeps from midnight to 7am. Immediately after that (from 7am to 9am), she does "WeedumJaBreakfast." Interestingly, the Location data is almost the same for her breakfast and sleep scripts. "WeedumJaSleep" occurs in "'BedrollSideEntry' in cell 'KvatchTent01' (0002A2C80)," while "WeedumJaBreakfast" occurs in "'BedrollSideEntry' in cell 'KvatchTent01' (0002A2C80), radius 1000." There could be something fishy going on there, but I'm not sure. –Eshetalk 16:08, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
Thanks for checking, Eshe. Sounds to me like they made him sleep for so long on purpose. If you can't locate any other scripts, I'll just play the "lazy-unemployed-soldier-of- fortune" angle and write the page. We can always change it, if some new evidence shows up. Weedum-Ja on the other hand, could be a bit fishy. I'll leave a note on her talk page. Krusty 18:35, 29 June 2009 (UTC)
