Giant skull?[edit]

Does anybody have any information about that giant skull? My character has it, but, what is it? There aren't any giants in the game. I have an XBox360, maybe the console on the PC shows some information about it? What were the game designers thinking when they decided to include it? Is there some in-game history between Fort Redman (I keep typing Redmond... lol!) and giants? It's cool, it just doesn't seem to fit with the other in-game elements. tx. — Unsigned comment by Natpoor (talkcontribs) at 17:33 on 11 July 2007 (GMT)

I believe it's just an easter egg type of thing, like the giant nirnroots and the giant mudcrab...just something the designers stick in there for fun. I certainly haven't heard anything about giants in the game. It may have been part of an abandoned quest, but I doubt it. Hope that helps! --Eshe 15:05, 11 July 2007 (EDT)

Corpse[edit]

Is that strung-up corpse a few levels up on the exterior of the fort to do with anything? Or is it just a warning of vampires ruthlessness? — Unsigned comment by 217.43.9.106 (talk) at 15:17 on 2 November 2007 (GMT)

There are a few corpses dotted around the place but they don't signify anything important. --RpehTCE 11:38, 2 November 2007 (EDT)
Maybe they do signify something(s) important, just nothing we can recognise, heheh. Unless its just to scare people, I was a little terrified when I looked up from where the splatter of blood was to find a recent corpse strung high above my head. — Unsigned comment by 217.43.9.106 (talk) at 17:42 on 2 November 2007 (GMT)

In Game Verification[edit]

who has to verify this in the game? if anybody can then i will, but i dont know if i have to be an administrator to do thatTabbitMaster 23:52, 24 April 2010 (UTC)

no you don't have to be a administrator to do in-game verification so if you want to go ahead!--GUM!!! 23:56, 24 April 2010 (UTC)
As long as you are willing to dedicate the time to read through the OPRP standards page and do the in-game verification thoroughly, you are welcome to go ahead and remove the template once you are finished. If you want to become a full-time member of the project, just mention so on the project page and verify multiple places pages. Vesna 00:22, 25 April 2010 (UTC)

Few Verifications[edit]

I just ran into this ruin, and went straight here. I ran into an Orc Vampire Warrior with a Glass Mace and full Daedric... A Dunmer Vampire Pilgrim, a Vampire Patriarch, and another Vampire Warrior, but the second one strangely relies more on magic other than a weapon. Due to the fact he doesn't have one. I don't REMEMBER their locations. Sorry. Shianni 02:30, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Not exactly the "verification" we need. See the Project page for details. Also, exact enemy info can't be added for cases like this, because the armor, race, and rank of the vampires will be random. -- Jplatinum16 03:04, 14 February 2011 (UTC)

Freaky Yellow Boxes[edit]

In the Hall of Judges, on either side of where the Vampire Matriarch/Patriarch is standing, are two bright yellow, ceiling-height (not quite, but they're at least a head taller than my Orc), triangular prism-shaped boxes (more specifically, they're at the foot of either tomb there, along with a grey, gravestone-shaped box).

I don't know if that happens often, as they're not mentioned on the page (and they're obvious enough that they would be there if it was usual). I'm on the 360, and the room seems otherwise normal. Should I try exiting and entering the room again, or save and reload, or just ignore it? — Unsigned comment by 74.162.82.216 (talk) on 25 June 2011

It's a missing mesh, as you can see here this is a known bug associated with Fort Redman. The only way to fix this is to install Shivering Isles, but you can always ignore them if you don't want to install Shivering. --AKB Talk Cont Mail 21:43, 25 June 2011 (UTC)
OP: Thanks. I was getting freaked out there for a minute. — Unsigned comment by 74.162.82.216 (talk) on 25 June 2011

Nirnroot[edit]

There is a 3rd nirnroot just SW of the most western one noted on the map. It is off that map though. — Unsigned comment by 71.42.10.23 (talk) at 22:20 on 10 July 2011 (GMT)

TV refrence[edit]

Fort Redman. Switch Red and Fort, then take out the T. You get Red Forman, a character from that 70's show. Coincidence? I think not! I'm gonna go over to Bethesda studios and put my foot in each and every one of their asses! Lol, jk, but it's funny don't ya think? — Unsigned comment by 74.82.64.32 (talk) at 01:11 on 29 August 2011 (GMT)

Uh.. That's very obscure...very very obscure. Kitkat1749 TalkContribE-mail 01:18, 29 August 2011 (UTC)
