Nice part is it replenishes istelf each time you level up with harder and harder marauders. I got better treasure the 2nd time around.

Most dungeons in Oblivion do that, my friend. =) IWon'tFightUndead 03:17, 17 October 2007 (EDT)

About The Headless Corpse......[edit]

It's not hard to find at all, but I just had to comment that I'd rule out suicide if I saw that and the page didn't mention that you can find the guy's head at the bottom of the lake W-NW in the middle;)

RE: It being only one level[edit]

The wall to the right of the main area (top walkway) remains fuzzy even after explored. Could have been designed as entrance to a second level however was never finished? Ozsupra 22:33, 8 November 2008 (EST)

bandits AND mauraders?[edit]

Aren't they enemies? Or are the bandits on the surface with mauraders below?76.179.191.245 22:03, 14 December 2008 (EST)

They are indeed enemies, and if you enter the fort you'll see the result. –RpehTCE 11:12, 21 December 2008 (EST)

Where is the Summon Skeleton Hero scroll?[edit]

This item isn't located near the cluster of arrows and other treasure, at location C. In fact, I could not find it "near the entrance" or anywhere within a roughly 90 foot radius of the entrance after a rather thorough search. Does anyone recall where this item is located specifically? Can someone else even confirm that it exists at this location as the article claims? Or is it possible that it appears in the article in error. Thanks. Ulthripe talk 11:44, 15 September 2009 (UTC)

It's definitely not located at location C. All I can tell you right now is its coordinates: x=-9909.07, y=68458.5, z=691.638 (whereas the Marksman scroll, which is at location C has coordinates x=-15149.8, y=67916.6, z=2325.86). The oblivion map might help give you some idea where those coordinates are: map link to coords. --NepheleTalk 15:12, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Thank you for the response! I was eventually able to locate the scroll in one of the ruined battlements along the perimeter of the fort's ruins. Furthermore, I found several chests and sacks not mentioned in the article by climbing into the various battlement ruins found along the perimeter. Should I add these details to the article myself, or perhaps someone with access to the console would be better suited to derive the specifics using the construction set? Ulthripe talk 22:42, 15 September 2009 (UTC)
Chests and sacks that can only contain clutter are not included in any of the place articles because they're not worth mentioning, and as far as I can tell those are the only other types of containers in that area. Furthermore, the place article details were automatically generated from the construction set data, and will always include any non-clutter containers in the area. --NepheleTalk 00:49, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
I once again appreciate your detailed response. My understanding was exactly as you specified, yet I found a Minor Soul Trap scroll in one of the chests. Can such things by generated in clutter containers? This had indicated to me that it was a non-clutter chest. Additionally, even if the containers in question are indeed all clutter containers, shouldn't there be some mention of them in the article such as a note or tip to investigate within the battlements? Ulthripe talk 01:09, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
The wilderness chest already listed on the article can contain a scroll (10% chance), so I'm guessing that's where you found the scroll. The map includes a green circle in the battlements indicating the location of that chest. I'm not sure it's really worth including much more than that. I don't think it helps readers to suggest that they spend a lot of time searching through sacks just to find a few gold (if they're lucky). Some dungeons contain dozens of crates and barrels with nothing but clutter, and trying to mark those containers would just obscure the chests that actually can contain something worthwhile. --NepheleTalk 01:30, 16 September 2009 (UTC)
Upon secondary examination, the Minor Soul Trap Soul scroll was not found in the chest after all. It was in fact located within the Northernmost battlement along the ruined wall. With the understanding that the information on this page is generated directly from the construction set, I find it curious that this item was left out considering a nearly identical item, the Summon Skeleton Hero scroll which is located inside the battlement farthest to the East, is indeed listed. I do understand your point about diluting the relevant information in the article, though. Ulthripe talk 08:31, 17 September 2009 (UTC)
At this time I've gone ahead and added the scroll details to the article. I feel the information I've added is accurate, concise, relevant, and does not obscure the other information on the page. Though I have double-checked on my own, third-party confirmation of the two scroll locations would be appreciated. Ulthripe talk 00:18, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

(outdent) As far as I can tell, the Minor Soul Trap is a guaranteed scroll and is basically as close to the actual fort as the Summon Skeleton Hero scroll. It's also worth more than 5 gold, which is one guideline we look at when deciding which items are worth mentioning on the page. I don't see any problem with listing it along with the other exterior items. –Eshetalk 00:36, 19 September 2009 (UTC)

Uhh...what's with the Fix notices going on?[edit]

Why? — Unsigned comment by Cirith Mara (talkcontribs) at 05:00 on 30 August 2010

Because the new Unofficial Patch Supplemental has fixed the bugs mentioned. Arthmoor 05:12, 30 August 2010 (UTC)
