Missing Chest[edit]

At least one chest has been overlooked here. If, when looking at the exterior map, the walls of the fort were a number three, then the location of this chest would be at the tip of the bottom semicircle. — Unsigned comment by 70.112.29.36 (talk) at 10:10 on 11 March 2008 (EDT)

It hasn't been overlooked. It's been intentionally left out because its only contents are clutter. The maps do not include every barrel and crate containing worthless loot because then readers wouldn't be able to make out the useful chests amidst the sea of green dots that would appear. --NepheleTalk 10:45, 11 March 2008 (EDT)
I found that it contained a silver urn and 10 gold (I'm currently level 10, may be a levelled amount?) ComaDivine 12:37, 17 September 2008 (EDT)
10 gold is not considered much. I'd say you were quite lucky, as the "clutter" Nephele refers to will hardly provide something worth more than 10 gold. It's not worthy enough to mention. --Timenn < talk > 12:44, 17 September 2008 (EDT)
Well, my latest character (who is Level 16) found only 3 gold pieces inside...but also a gold nugget, whereas the listed Jewellery Box held 4 gold pieces. ComaDivine 00:19, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
At level 16, that chest has a 43:1 against chance of containing a gold nugget. There is no way it is worth listing so please just let it go will you? –RpehTCE 03:12, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
Sorry, I don't have access to the arcane secrets of the game like some do. Just thought it may have been overlooked. I won't bother anyone with any more suggestions. ComaDivine 04:44, 10 October 2008 (EDT)
Suggestions are fine, but two separate editors had replied and tried to explain the situation to no avail and it can get a bit frustrating. There are nearly 150 "Wilderness" chests scattered around Tamriel and if we mention one of them, people will start insisting that we mention them all. That would be a lot of pain for almost no gain. –RpehTCE 05:05, 10 October 2008 (EDT)

() Holy... Well i am just apologizing on here for adding that again then, a user jumped in the IRC and said he had a chest we needed to add - i just updated the img and threw it in there thinking nothing of it. Whispendtalk 05:12, 14 August 2012 (UTC)

I think there are a few inconsistencies on this wiki then. In the castle and guild pages, there are lists of every single chest and container that could be found. This list includes containers that contain only clutter. I think the chest in the discussion above should be included on the map; either that or the other "worthless" chests should be deleted from all the other articles. I'll let you tackle that. — Unsigned comment by 70.197.192.11 (talk) at 13:49 on 21 May 2015 (UTC)

Misplaced Warlord?[edit]

I found the boss-level Marauder in Zone 1 of the fort, in the room before door C, not in zone 2, as this article would suggest. And Kalthar (the Nord battlemage) that appears in the Mage's guild quest, isn't mentioned in the article, but spawned . . . Does that change only happen while doing the quest? Or is something wrong? — Unsigned comment by 72.14.72.157 (talk) at 00:37 on 21 February 2010 (UTC)

Doors and Keys[edit]

(moved from the article)

  • There is a bug that will cause you to become imprisoned in the final section containing the coffins. If the doors for which you used the Fort Blueblood Key close behind you, you cannot re-open them from the inside. It will keep asking you for a special key and the lock cannot be picked.
    • If you pick pocket the key off Kalthar prior to entering the fort his key unlocks this door if it won't open with the Fort Blueblood key.
This whole note is largely incomprehensible. Why would the doors close behind you? What does "this door" refer to?" This needs much better wording if it's to go back on. rpeh •TCE 12:30, 2 July 2011 (UTC)

Bedroll in Fort Blueblood Halls[edit]

I confirmed the recently added bug about not being able to sleep in the bedroll in Fort Blueblood Halls after testing in a vanilla game. It doesn't always happen; I first visited the fort without being on the related quest and had no problem sleeping in the bedroll. However, after joining the Mages Guild and getting the quest, I returned to Fort Blueblood and found myself unable to activate the bedroll this time (the crosshair wouldn't change to the selection icon). Saving, exiting, and reloading the game fixed this. I finished the quest and came back to the fort once more, and again I was unable to select the bedroll. Again, save-exit-reload fixed it. Seems to be a "subsequent visit" issue; further testing may or may not be worthwhile. — Wolfborn(Howl) 08:21, 20 January 2023 (UTC)

Thanks I was actually considering undoing it when I saw that some people could sleep in the bed. Just seemed to be really inconsistent, odd bug indeed. — Unsigned comment by 95.44.141.62 (talk) at 14:04 on 22 January 2023 (UTC)
