Oblivion talk:Cursed Mine

I have found a book at the end of the cursed mine in a chest titled "horse armor plans" it is a quest item but has no icon in the inventory. it contains only one sentence stating "im a set of plans go to the chestnut handy stables" there is no new text with any NPC's in the surrounding area and no new armor listed in the selection. There was no new event adding a quest or any sort of notification. I have several modifications to oblivion loaded into my data files however none pertaining to horse armor except for the official mod. I've Googled and searched for any explanation to no avail as to how to find this hidden set of armor nor any mention of a book or quest item. — Unsigned comment by Lane (talk • contribs)

Yep, the Horse Armor Plans ("DLCHorseArmorPlans", FormID xx0016C6) are added by the Horse Armor DLC. There is only the one set of them, in the one chest ("DLCHorseArmorChest") in CursedMine03. The plans don't do anything; they are not referenced by any scripts. It's not clear from the construction set why they were added; it may be that the developers had initially planned to do something more with them but never got around to it. --Nephele 22:34, 29 January 2007 (EST)

Midget Skeleton!

In the the first area, Cursed Mine, there is a tiny, slightly bloody, skeleton located in the alcove in the first room to the right, upon entering the mine via the main entrance. I'm not sure why it's there.. or why its tiny. I know there are small bones in the shivering isles, and tiny skeletons in the dark brotherhood area under bravil's statue; probably no connection to either though. --Scxe 04:14, 26 February 2008 (EST)

It's the same item (id "BabyBody") as the ones in the Night Mother's crypt but there's no other connection. There are actually quite a few in the game; five outside and 15 others not including this one or the ones in the crypt. There are three in Fort Ash Stockade, for example. Then you have the arms, legs and skulls. And to think people say there are no children in Oblivion! :) –Rpeh^{•T•C•E•} 05:30, 26 February 2008 (EST)

I've found a number of these and can't seem to pick any of them up. Anyone know if there are any I can put in my inventory? Rpeh, you mentioned little skulls; can I take these? You can't pick up the skeleton bodies, because they're not items. It would be like trying to add a tree to your inventory. There are some small bones on a roof in Crucible in the Shivering Isles. They are surrounded by feathers so might be a bit hard to see. I don't know of any other small bones you can pick up and drop, though. Legoless 13:29, 6 January 2010 (UTC)

Deadra?
