Where...[edit]

She's not there for me, why? She used to be there, but now she's gone. I didn't kill her, either. Anyone know? Thanks. Zander 02:16, 10 May 2008 (EDT)

Check Tel Fyr...BenouldTC 02:44, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
Ah, well, you see, I'm up to Disease Carrier, and I haven't beat it, and she's not there. D'you mean she could be there by some rare accident in the game's script? Well, either way, I'll go check Tel Fyr now. Thanks. Zander 21:55, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
I am afraid that (if you haven't completed the quest yet) she might have fallen through the floor. If you are on the PC, you can use
PlaceAtPC "Tanusea Veloth",1,20,1
to place her on the upper level visitors area, next to you. If you are on the xbox, hmm, you might find Tanusea Veloth at 0,0 outside of Morrowind:Assarnatamat, as NPCs lost sometimes go there. Good luck--BenouldTC 22:24, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
I guess it is time for a trip to the Daedric ruin then. I just hope a Golden Saint or something hasn't killed her by the time I get there. She wasn't at Tel Fyr, either. And I'm on Xbox, so, yes, Daedric ruin time. Zander 23:05, 10 May 2008 (EDT)
AAH! She must be dead or something, she's not at the ruin either! Any ideas? Zander 00:00, 11 May 2008 (EDT)

Tanusea Veloth, where to find her......[edit]

Hey, if you still look at these, I also have the xbox (not 360) and I ended up finding her by trying to keep talking about her from the quest giver.(Who's name I have forgotten) You should have an idea of where she is and then ask about her from Ordernatiors,civilians,etc.... 71.34.128.13 21:50, 21 December 2011 (UTC)Boedi Ray

I'm sorry, but I can't fully understand your post. Are you saying that she couldn't be found there at first, but when you went back and talked to Endryn Llethan again, as well as several townsfolk, she suddenly appeared? If so, it seems that she is scripted to only appear after a certain quest stage, although I can't find that in the CS. Wolok gro-Barok 19:12, 22 December 2011 (UTC)

Should catching corprus from Tanusea be considered a bug?[edit]

Apparently, catching corprus in this way will ruin the main quest, but that seems more like a bug on the fault of the main quest and not this particular NPC and quest. Though no other NPCs or creatures will give the player corprus, it's not like it's an accident that Tanusea can infect you. The player is always told to watch out for corprus, and has the option of getting spells to resist corprus (and these spells actually do reduce the chances of catching it from Tanusea). And while the spell of weakness to corprus isn't used in the game, if you use the console to "setresistcorprus" to negative amounts, you will catch corprus from searching/pickpocketing her much sooner. If you add a weapon to her inventory through the console and she hits you, you can contract corprus from that too.

Essentially, the corprus disease here seems to follow to rules of every other disease, and in the setting, it is contagious, and the player is warned in some places that it is contagious, so it seems like it's working as intended. It just seems out of place because no other creatures or NPCs are actually given the corprus effect, so they don't ever transfer it to the player.--Croup shrunk (talk) 20:18, 24 January 2019 (UTC)

Yes it is a bug. The main quest has you deliberately infected, leading you to the next quest which is the only way to "cure" yourself from the effects of corprus. Having corprus prevents you from progressing the main quest to its conclusion, it is only possible to "catch" it by curse or this one person, not from any of the other carriers, who actively attack you on sight, and who would be much more expected to give it to you. The bug isn't that corprus is acting like it is supposed to, it is that you can catch it here and thus break the entire main quest which is most certainly not an intended effect written and coded by the games designers.
