Speaking with Sirilonwe after the theft[edit]

The page says "Make sure you don’t talk to Sirlonwe after you steal Chimarvamidium with the book on you, or she will sound the alarm, and you will be expelled from the Guild." -- I have played this quest again today and can confirm that this is not true. Perhaps it's because of patches? — Unsigned comment by 91.176.240.78 (talk) at 21:36 on 31 March 2008‎

You won't get expelled through dialogue with her. She'll be angry with you (loose some disposition) but other than that nothing will happen. You even get the chance to return the book to her (should do that only after you get the quest to return the book). -Meisterdieb 08:08, 14 January 2009 (EST)
Actually, you'll only lose disposition if you mention Chimarvamidium to her and then don't give it back to her. You can talk about anything else without a problem. As a matter of fact, you'll gain disposition by returning the book to her (which you should of course wait to do until you get the return quest). Since this is actually a more favorable outcome than what you get for simply sneaking it back into her chest, it should probably be mentioned on the quest page, I'll add it now. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:28, 14 January 2009 (EST)
