Incorrect name?

I just noticed that in the Construction Set, the name of this artifact is Spell Breaker, not Spellbreaker. Is there a reason it's under "Spellbreaker" now, or should it be moved? --Eshe^talk12:46, 14 February 2008 (EST)

Wording

I undid an edit to the page which changed "without becoming a vampire" to "without having to be a vampire". It has since been re-added, on grounds that the next text is more correct. As the note in question is no doubt aimed at characters who aren't a vampire, I feel that "becoming" would be more accurate. Just thought I'd put my reasonings here, instead of starting up an edit war. Legoless 17:31, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

I believe it makes more sense to have it as it currently is. Either way you have to be a vampire, not become one, to do this, correct? Though the difference is subtle it is quite important in my opinion. --AKB ^Talk 18:12, 3 March 2011 (UTC)

Again, minor issue, but the difference refers to the state of being a vampire versus the act of becoming one. Although the new wording is better IMHO, I suppose it really depends on what Enables the shield. Is it being a vampire? Then it's becoming. Starting the quest? Yes. You need to "be" a vampire to get the quest.

The word was "become" though. "Become" is an action, while "having to be" is not an action, but rather a state of being. Putting the action word in there, makes the sentence sound like the action of getting the shield is linked to the action of becoming a vampire. In other words it sounded like "Getting this shield will make you become a vampire". --Brf 23:24, 3 March 2011 (UTC)
