Inconsistency[edit]

It says here, under Dagoth Ur, that it takes 3 hits of Keening to destroy the Heart of Lorkhan. The Citadels of the Sixth House page says it takes 5. Which is true? --Xyntfos 03:35, 1 July 2008 (EDT)

That's not quite what it says, but I can see what you mean. It takes five hits to destroy the heart; it's just that Dagoth's stats don't change after the third. To be honest, I don't see his stats changing at all, but I assume I'm missing something. Anyway, the weakening of DU through killing ash vampires isn't on. I'm going to add that now. –RpehTCE 04:11, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
The changes in resists and stuff happen in the DagothUrCreature2 script. It adds and subtracts various abilities based on the number of times the Heart has been hit. (Incidentally, it only takes four hits - one with Sunder and three with Keening.) I don't know where the part about killing Ash Vampires factors in, as this script seems to ensure he has a constant health every frame until the Heart has been destroyed. (The DagothUrCreature1 script on the first version doesn't affect his health at all, but it is definitely set to start at 300 in the CS. I'm not sure what would make it go higher than that, as it would need to in order for him not to be dead if he gets 50 points off for every Ash Vampire killed. --TheRealLurlock Talk 12:51, 1 July 2008 (EDT)
To destroy the heart, it takes one hit with Sunder, three with Keening, just re-tested it. As to killing the Ash Vampires weakening good, ole Dagoth Ur, this seems to be not active in-game, there were extensive test done a while back. See Morrowind:Dagoth_Endus#Notes for example. --BenouldTC 13:06, 1 July 2008 (EDT)

Heart of Lorkhan[edit]

Moved exploit from Main Page: (Note: brewing a potion that fortifies strength to the point where one can hit over 5000 is also possible, by brewing hundreds of fortify intelligence potions first and then drinking them. This will insanely enhance the power of potions you brew after this. So then you can brew a Fortify strength potion with sufficient power.) — Unsigned comment by 83.117.248.114 (talk)

Heart of Lorkhan (revisited)[edit]

When you have Bloodmoon installed, you can collect the the Ebony Arrows of Slaying. There enchantment can do Damage Health 5000 points. So there is another way next to the Construction set and the other trick suggested. — Unsigned comment by Fergotal (talkcontribs) at 13:12 on 18 February 2009 (GMT)
