Morrowind talk:Spear

I'm playing the german GotY with some minor mods, none changing the rules. So I made a test from zero progress (at skill 60) and it took 66 successfull strikes to increase my skill again, which makes the given increase-rate of 1.0 look incorrect (crits should only double damage iirc).

Annoying glitch[edit]

I just noticed that my Spear skill is 29, but colored red to show that it is drained. I used the drain skills glitch to train a few skills including Spear, but it still won't reset to 30(the level it should be.)Has anyone else had this problem, and if so, is there any way to fix it?-Lord Sheogorath

Your spear skill has been damaged. You'll need to cast a Restore Spear spell on yourself. Get hold of any Restore Skill spell, visit a spellmaker to create a Restore Spear and then use it. –rpehTCE 10:01, 28 December 2009 (UTC)

That's what I thought at first, but there is no way for it to have been damaged. I have been in the Balmora Fighter's Guild using drain and train, there's nothing that could have damaged it. And to get the Restore effect to make the spell I'd have to get Tribunal, and I have no idea how to get my hands on it. I also just noticed that my Medium Armor, Strength and Endurance have also been drained/damaged! It's only effecting the skills and Attributes that I have had drained, and I did get a Restore Endurance and Strength spell but it still wasn't right(I had 8,000 Fatigue and could carry 10,000 lbs, although after Restoring them I had 8,001 Fatigue and could carry 10,005 lbs). It just annoys me because I tend to try to create a "perfect" character, and I finally had until this happend). As far as damaged/drained, like I said above, there is nothing that could have damaged it. My Attributes where drained when I was fighting an Ancestral Ghost(and yes, I paused the game to check and make sure they were drained instead of damaged).-Lord Sheogorath
