Again I find one of my edits deleted. why? I dont understand. I thought the idea of a wiki was to build a communal edifice of facts, and my edit that the skillbook concerned is feyfolken 3 is valuable information. Im going to put it back.
edit: Hmm, it seems someone else tried to put it in the text as something that shows up as a link, but it didnt do so for some reason. As I do not know how those mechanics work, I cant attempt to fix it:/
edit: I kinda figured it out through reverse engineering and copy paste. If its not up to code, please let me know, I only want to help:) --Merari 21:04, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
- As you said initially, a wiki is a collaborative effort. Everybody contributes, and everybody has opinions on what's useful and what makes a good article, so things get changed or deleted regularly. As it says at the bottom of the page (on just about every wiki I've ever seen, actually), "If you don't want your writing to be edited mercilessly, then don't submit it here". In this case, your information was fine, it just needed to be a bit more presentable, which was why the link was added, along with a few wording changes. You, in turn, changed the text to explicitly state the name of the book, which was also a good idea. That's how it goes. :) Thanks for the contribution! ‒ Robin Hood↝talk 21:35, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
