Question

Why does for example Anden Thilarvel re-direct here instead of having his own page ?--TheAlbinoOrc 17:25, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

My guess would be that he's not an important enough character for him to have his own page. The enemy NPC's in Morrowind are all named, and making a page for every single one would probably be just too much unneeded work. -DevotedInsanity 17:27, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

This page describes why we don't have an individual page on Anden, or most of the people in this tomb. Basically, if they're not involved w/ any quests, offer no unique dialogue, or do not provide a service, they just link to their place location. -- Jplatinum16 19:01, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

If your saying "want" as in don't want editors to create those pages, then I can't completely say yes. I don't think we've had a problem about this, but as I know NonRev pages do not need to be created, as all of their info is basically right here. And also, NonRev pages won't be gotten to later; for right now, we aren't creating them. -- Jplatinum16 20:43, 30 April 2010 (UTC)

There was a long discussion about this subject here. The one sentence summary is that if people want to create full pages for non-relevant NPCs then nobody's going to stop them, but there's absolutely no intention of starting a project to do it.

I should add that the "nobody's going to stop them" comment only goes so far. If an editor was to create a mass of one sentence stubs and hopes somebody else will clean things up, the pages would be reverted to redirects. Only fully-formed pages would be kept. rpeh •T•C•E• 11:06, 1 May 2010 (UTC)
