Ash Curses[edit]

When I attacked the woman who had the robe, she kept giving me weird temporary deseases called "Ash Curse:(Attribute-effected name)" They were only drain effects, and only mildly annoying, but I wish to know, where did they come from? They are not mentioned on ANY website.--Juz 22:08, 10 April 2008 (EDT) Correction! I was looking through my MASSIVE spell list, and found that they are spells, that CORPUS YOU! So apperently, There IS a second way to get corpus.

I had that happen once on the Xbox GOTY, no clue how I gained the spell though. I remember the Magicka cost being very high, could you get the specifics and do a test to see if you get Corprus?--BenouldTC 00:50, 11 April 2008 (EDT)
I tested it, it is a VERY temporary spell effect. I'm not sure if the "Corpus desease" really has any purpose other than making everyone hate you, though, so if you look at it, other than whatever it does to your enemy, it is completely useless, unless you are tired of people liking you. And you cannot duplicate the Corpus effect, at 100 destruction, and using the super potion effect, chance of casting on a created corpus spell on self is -85 at 0 seconds of time. Therefore, there is NO way to duplicate the effects and turn them on your enemy. But thank you for confirming that I'm not going insane.--Juz(Not logged in)66.142.45.144 00:59, 11 April 2008 (EDT)
There was a discussion of this oddity a few months ago on Morrowind talk:Corprus. Very strange, but no, you cannot actually get Corprus this way. --TheRealLurlock Talk 09:42, 11 April 2008 (EDT)

Note on attacking Senise Thindo[edit]

I was under the impression that you could kill any Telvanni without a bounty, except guards, or if guards are around. I know that the topic "Rules" with most Telvanni says generally the same thing. Anyone know anything else about this? --Tim Talk 12:08, 20 February 2009 (EST)

Not recieving quest[edit]

I can't seem to pick up this quest from Master Neloth. When I ask him about chores, he mentions the robe, but it doesn't show up as a topic. I'm arch-mage of the Mages Guild, as well as an Aundae vampire. I'm considering console-starting this quest. Have anyone else had this problem? --Zheft 21:50 7 May 2012 (CET)

Strange, I've never had this issue myself. I don't know why it doesn't start for you, as there are no requirements for this quest apart from having the topic. You might have to console your way into this quest. Wolok gro-Barok 17:34, 10 May 2012 (UTC)
Yes I have, I answered this question on the UESP Forums but for any who come here and don't happen to look there, here it is. In the vanilla Morrowind/Tribunal/Bloodmoon, only the Auriel's Bow quest has a rank requirement and the player must be of rank mouth or above to receive it. In the Unofficial Morrowind Patch 1.6.5, this requirement has been added to the topic Drake's Pride as well and thus you must now be a mouth to start the quest. I too was a vampire when I first tried to get it and thought that might be the problem heh. Lazy Waysef 21:59, 11 May 2012 (UTC)
