Unique Dialogue[edit]

The "unique" dialogue that is presented on Angoril's page is shared with at least one other NPC, namely Flaenia Amiulusus (her unique dialogue has not yet been added to her page). Since the dialogue lines that Angoril uses to explain several topics concerning weapons and armor and such to the player are shared with at least one other NPC, I would argue that they are not, in fact, unique lines, and as such I think that it would be better if these lines are moved to the Generic Dialogue page. Unless someone has any serious objections to this idea, I intend to start carrying out this small task tomorrow (and probably will finish it on the same day, as it really isn't that much work). Is this dialogue specific to NPCs who can train you in weapons/armor? I feel like we should include context on the Generic Dialogue page, like what kinds of NPCs can say which lines. I don't object to you moving it, I just feel like we should do more with that page than just list all the dialogue if there are conditions for certain lines. -MolagBallet (talk) 20:21, 5 March 2021 (UTC)
From what I found thus far, the dialogue seems to be specific to a subset of NPCs who can train you in combat-related skills (for instance, Eydis Fire-Eye offers training in the same three skills as Angoril does, but she does not have any of the dialogue topics concerning weapons and armor that he does have). As for your comment regarding the Generic Dialogue page, I completely agree with you, as just adding dialogue without any context whatsoever does feel a bit silly to me. Most of the generic dialogue that NPCs may or may not have seems to be related to their class, location and how far you have progressed in certain quests. As such, I think that adding that sort of information might be a good starting point? I'll probably do this for more topics than merely those that are presently listed on Angoril's page, by the way, as it fits well in my current efforts to make the documentation of the dialogue of Morrowind's NPCs more complete. skirt[edit]

The Imperial Templar Skirt is quite rare as far as I know. This character is the only source I know of for this particular article of clothing. Can it be found elsewhere, ideally avoiding bloodshed? Chill fridge (talk) 22:46, 12 July 2023 (UTC)
