Quick Walkthrough[edit]

  1. Meet Lucan Ostorius on the road northwest of Ald'ruhn
  2. Deliver the shipment to Yak gro-Skandar

Detailed Walkthrough[edit]

Help a Trader[edit]

If you are lucky, looking for the younger Zainsubani, or quite thorough in your exploration, you may come across Lucan Ostorius to the northwest of Ald'ruhn, very much in the middle of nowhere (west of the Dushariran Shrine). Apparently he has been waiting to meet someone there and they have not yet shown up, and he asks you for a favor.

The Weapon Delivery[edit]

You are to deliver four weapons (a Steel Shortsword, a Silver Flameblade, a Steel Staff and a Silver War Axe) to Yak gro-Skandar at the Rat in the Pot club in Ald'ruhn. You'll receive a whole 100 gold for the delivery and, if you are a Thieves Guild member, a faction increase as well.

If you decide to keep the weapons instead of delivering them, know that the first time you leave Ald'ruhn, Lucan will appear and attack you. Unfortunately, once you're in this position, there's no way to fix it in game since Yak won't accept the weapons anymore and Lucan won't calm down. You can either kill him or lead him out to the wilderness and then lose him.

  • If you don't have the weapons in your inventory when you talk to Yak, you will lose five points of Thieves Guild reputation.
  • If you kill Yak for any reason during the quest, Lucan will attack you as soon as you talk to him.

  • Even if you refuse the quest, Lucan's scripting will make him attack you as soon as you leave Ald'ruhn and return.

10 I met Lucan Ostorius, who claims to be a trader. He is waiting for Yak gro-Skandar, a smith with whom he was supposed to trade some goods. Apparently, though, gro-Skandar has yet to show up, agitating Lucan greatly. It seems Lucan would like me to help him by delivering a shipment of weapons for him to Yak gro-Skandar at the Rat in the Pot in Ald'ruhn. He has offered to pay me 100 septims for my time, and he asks me to swear an oath to Zenithar to seal the bargain.

100 ☑Finishes quest I met up with Yak gro-Skandar, and delivered the stolen weapons to him. He gave me the 100 septims promised by Lucan Ostorius, and seemed pleased about his goods. It's always good to be able to help a couple of honest traders.
105 ☑Finishes quest I met up with Yak gro-Skandar, another fellow guild member, in Ald'ruhn. He seemed happy with the shipment, and paid me the 100 septims Lucan promised me.
