Akatosh[edit]
His name, Tosh Raka, looks a bit like Akatosh. Could that be related. Akatosh's avatar was a dragon as well. — Unsigned comment by POMC S117 (talk • contribs) at 23:57 on 22 July 2011 (GMT)
- I'm guessing the "Tosh" part was taken from "Akatosh" to symbolise him being a dragon. Similar to how the Po Tun became the Ka Po' Tun. --Legoless 23:08, 22 July 2011 (UTC)

- I know it's a year and a half later but I think it needs to be said. Michael Kirkbride once acknowledged the possibility of Tosh Raka having mantled an aspect of Time much like Martin Septim did:
- "Don't forget that gods can be shaped by the mythopoeic forces of the mantlers-- so Tosh Raka could be an Akaviri avatar of Akatosh with a grudge against his mirror-brother in Cyrodiil.
- Just like Akatosh-as-we-usually-know-him could time-scheme against his mirror-brother of the Nords, Alduin, to keep the present kalpa-- perhaps his favorite-- from being eaten.
- Notice all the coulds."
- Since this is just one comment from outside of the games and he's being hesistant to confirm anything in this instance, it probably shouldn't be added to the article. We should wait for it to be expanded on more. TorchicBlaziken (talk) 18:26, 1 December 2012 (GMT)
