Needs fixing[edit]

In the Nirn description it has a noinclude displayed on the page. I'm not sure how to fix this because when I go into the editing section nothing is there besides the names of the places. If someone who knows how to fix it can do that it would be great. Can you also tell me how to see everything on the page in the edit screen so I can fix these issues should they come up again? I can see the names of the places in the edit window, but the description is just missing and I don't know how to make all of it show. Lorenut (talk) 10:15, 6 August 2014 (GMT)

Done. You can't see the text here because it's "transcluded" from another article--the text from this page are from Lore:Nirn, which I've edited to remove the noinclude tag. To see the text, check the template under the name (in this case it was {{Lore:Nirn}}) and go to that page (Lore:Nirn). The purpose of the noinclude tag is, as far as I understand it, to prevent something from showing up if it's transcluded. I'm sorry if this doesn't help, I'm not really good at explaining these things >_> —<({QT>> 10:24, 6 August 2014 (GMT)
Thanks Quill-Tail! I get it thanks for explaining it to me! Now I'll be able to fix any more things like this I come across. Lorenut (talk) 10:28, 6 August 2014 (GMT)
Yeah that's how it works QT. Something between <noinclude> and </noinclude> will only show on the source, and not on the transclusion; something between <includeonly> and </includeonly> will only show on the transclusion, and not on the source. (There's also <onlyinclude>, but I don't think we use that much.) --Enodoc (talk) 10:55, 6 August 2014 (GMT)
