Page Content[edit]

This page is currently a revised version of the Skooma page, but could probably use additions of valuable information from Lore:Khajiit and Lore:Moon Sugar. Any editor is welcome to help out here - I just wanted something better that the one sentence here previously. --Actreal 02:22, 3 October 2006 (EDT)

Page title should be "Moon Sugar" and not "Moon_Sugar" to keep with rest of wiki.

Um, it is. Underscores and spaces are always equivalent in page-names. The address-bar in the browser can't use spaces, however, which is why it appears as an underscore there. You'll notice that with all multiple-word page names on this or any other wiki. However, I do think the 's' should be capitalized, think I'll fix that since I'm here. --TheRealLurlock Talk 11:48, 5 February 2007 (EST)

redirect[edit]

As of now, a search for 'moon sugar' brings you to the orphaned redirect page and does not automatically send you here. Intentional?Temple-Zero 16:41, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

It's because alternate capitalizations of names interfere with the search system. Once the page is deleted, searches will take you to the correct page instead of the obsolete page. --NepheleTalk 17:02, 14 September 2008 (EDT)

Closest to Moon-Sugar in Oblivion?[edit]

An old habit I picked up in Morrowind was, upon deciding to play a Khajiit, I would collect pretty much all the Moon Sugar and Skooma in the game (and then sit around muttering: "Sweeeet moooon sugarrr!" to myself). Since the nonces at Bethesda forgot to (or deliberately didn't) put Moon Sugar in Oblivion, I'm going to have to find an alternative.
So... the two questions are... Which alchemical ingredients LOOK most like Moon Sugar, and / or have Fortify Speed as their primary alchemical attribute? I know I criticised the roleplaying section earlier, but a Khajiit without Moon Sugar is practically heresy. ~ SotiCoto 20:39, 22 October 2008 (EDT)

drugs in TES[edit]

id like to make an entire lore page about psychoactives in TES

help me start a new page

Maybe not a good idea, since many ingredients have similar effects to Moon Sugar and Skooma, but are not labelled "psychoactives." The very definition within the game is very hazy, as it could be argued that many different effects are similar to those found in real-world drugs. -Itachi 09:54, 29 December 2009 (UTC)

Moon Sugar in Skyrim[edit]

I can see that Oblivion and Morrowind are mentioned but what of Moon Sugar activities in Skyrim?

I'm pretty sure that "Proven Moon Sugar Fertilization Techniques" is a bad citation to use[edit]

I'm 90% sure that Proven Moon Sugar Fertilization Techniques is fake. It's found in Zainsipilu, but I distinctly remember it only appearing during Planting Misinformation — and I do mean during: I remember it appearing on a table after you interact with the table to plant fake instructions with the intention of disrupting a skooma-brewing operation.

It instructs moon sugar growers to use possibly the most toxic alchemical reagent in all of Tamriel, for Dibella's sake.

Next time someone gets the Planting Misinformation daily, they may want to check this for themselves. If I'm right about when the document appears, then the instructions it contains are blatantly fake and it shouldn't be cited as an explanation for how moon sugar is farmed. You are correct in that it is false information planted Zebendal (talk) 19:05, 28 April 2019 (UTC)
