Theories on Soul Harvesting?[edit]

"There are different theories to why: some believe they literally feed on souls like how a vampire feeds on blood, but others suggest that they harvest souls as a unique currency to greater power."

Are these in-game speculations, or fan speculations? Insignificant RevisionsThreatsEvidence 17:28, 26 April 2015 (GMT)

I know for a fact that I have definitely read or heard it mentioned in the game that they "feed on souls", I can't say I know for definite on the use of souls as currency. --Manic (talk) 17:30, 26 April 2015 (GMT)
I know that they're known for trading souls, but I think "currency" can carry other connotations. Some might say bartering something doesn't necessarily make it a currency. Might want to avoid that word. Insignificant RevisionsThreatsEvidence 18:20, 26 April 2015 (GMT)
I thought Serana was the one to call it a "sick currency" or something? Not sure about the vampiric thing, but I think it comes from Battlespire where they're called gem vampires. Dunno why that isn't mentioned anywhere. —Legoless (talk) 18:53, 26 April 2015 (GMT)

Nice1, never seen that resource before. But yeah that should suffice. --Manic (talk) 21:43, 26 April 2015 (GMT)

Merethic Era[edit]

Unless I'm missing something, Durnehviir's dialogue only implies that the Ideal Masters existed during the Merethic, not that that was when they ascended, as that could have been before the Merethic. LudwigC (talk) 09:05, 25 December 2020 (UTC)
